This location is a high-end vacation spot, hence the hefty price tag. However, if you're keen on visiting the Bay Area and want a myriad of activities at your disposal within your campsite, this is your go-to destination. Amenities include a swimming pool and jacuzzi, a kitchen space, a petting zoo, a rock-climbing wall, a bounce pillow, a playground, hay rides, and additional paid activities (such as tie-dyeing). The Wi-Fi connection is excellent. The poolside showers are top-notch. The entire site is beautifully maintained and spotless. The staff members are accommodating and polite. They even offer a daily service to pump your tanks if you're not connected. A waste disposal station is available if you need to empty your tanks before the morning service.

A well-managed, spacious KOA campsite with spotless restrooms and showers, some of the finest we've ever come across. The camp store was impressively tidy and better arranged than your average camp store, with most of the stock appearing new and fresh. They had a wide range of items available. Our only gripe was the laundry facility. We appreciate their transition towards a cashless system at the campsite, but the app-based method they adopted for the laundry machines was disappointing. There were two pages of comprehensive instructions plastered on the wall on how to download, set up, load funds and eventually use the app instead of using coins or a credit card on the machine. However, the app was dysfunctional! We sought assistance at the reception, and the delightful Amber came to our aid. She used her phone to operate the app for us, thus covering the cost for us! That's exceptional customer service! Amber informed us that they plan on modifying the payment system for the laundry machines soon, which is a welcome change!

Very nice and well maintained KOA. Of course it was busy but that’s what I expected! Nice pool and hot tub. Have lots of other things for children! There were people having party’s and family reunions and things so It wasn’t quiet! Close enough to drive to San Francisco and to the point Reyes national seashore!

Great location as we were visiting friends nearby in Marin, and the washrooms and showers were wonderful. Yet I don’t know which I loathed more: the endless flies or the endless amount of small children telling their faces off and running around our RV at all hours. Quiet hours ostensibly end at 9AM yet we had kids yelling outside our door before 8 o’clock.

Napa Valley is about hour drive from the park. Typical KOA campground, small sites with your neighbors right next door to you. Our site was water and electric only. There is a dump station in the campground.

We stayed in site R237, which was level and enough room for our 38' motorhome plus toad. The campground was multilevel but they had leveled all the spots. Very nice campstore and lots of activities for kids. On the flip side it brings a lot of families with kids, therefore it is not a quiet and peaceful area, but that can change on any given day. We were here over the weekend. We did a day trip to the coast to Bodego Bay, very pretty drive! Short stay for us!

Overall, great experience. We don't normally stay at KOA's, but with a 10 year old son we decided it was high time he had a camping trip more geared to entertaining him. The amenities at this KOA are fabulous: petting zoo (only in the mornings can you go in with the goats), jumping pillow (available all the time), basketball hoop/small court, swimming pool and (small) hot tub, kamping kitchen area, large playground, wagon rides around the campground where everyone waves at each other (cute), corn hole, tie dye t-shirt making, movie night in a REALLY lovely sitting area with wine barrels, mining for kids, and so much more! There are two VERY impressive stores there as well (although I wish they carried liquid coffee creamer, lol). Checking in was effortless and most of the staff was very friendly (some younger staff seemed less than thrilled to be there). It IS expensive, and yes - overpriced for the actual site you get....BUT, who can honestly complain with all those amenities? Our son was thrilled overall. Something else to be noted about KOA's for those who might not consider this: since it is so family focused, it is certainly not quiet during the daytime...BUT, I couldn't believe how quiet it was at nighttime!!! You could hear a pin drop! So, for those older folks who miss their grandchildren far away, it might be worth the splurge to watch the kids having fun and enjoy peace and quiet in the evenings. Lastly, the setting is FABULOUS! You could see some cows and horses in the field from the H loop section! All in all, would definitely stay again!

Large end site advertised as full hookups, but it didn't have a sewer drain. A daily visit by a septic truck does NOT count as FHU. Ended up moving sites. Cramped park but cozy. Loads of kids and campfires. Smell was a bit too much at times. One of the only parks in the region where spots have spacing and isn't full of near-permanent residents, so it's an okay but expensive place to stay.

We stayed here overnight. You can tell as soon as you pull up in front of the office that this is a “destination” KOA: there were crowds of kids at the pool, on the jump pillow, and at the small petting zoo. Other campground amenities include a small rock wall (for climbing, I assume, I didn’t see it myself), a large playground, a bocce ball court, the typical enclosed KOA dog park, a convenience store, and a recreation hall with a large tented patio that served as a movie theater at night. And we were given a sheet of daily activities at check-in along with paper wristbands to wear if we wanted to participate. So if you have kids or simply want some entertainment out of your campground, this place fits the bill. We like to pick KOAs for overnight stops when we can because usually KOAs, even the fancier ones, are easy to get into and out of. That wasn’t the case for us at this park. We picked our site (P211) online knowing only that it was long enough and had full hookups. But the interior roads we needed to take to get into our site were a bit narrow, and we had to be careful with maneuvering our 37-foot fifth wheel around the turns so we didn’t swipe any parked vehicles. Our site was in the “Vineyard Terrace” section, where (true to its name) the sites are terraced and our driver’s side neighbor site was four feet higher than ours on the other side of the fence. We had no trouble pulling into the site, but we made sure we positioned ourselves so we had enough room to open our slides. The site exited onto a single lane road, and right across the road was a deluxe cabin with a parking spot facing the road. The truck in that parking spot was out of the road, but its position would have made it hard to get out: fortunately we met the owner and he moved the truck out of the way before we left. Even so, we came close to hitting the fence of our down-slope neighbor with the RV on the way out. Our second challenge getting out was avoiding the dump station, which sits in-between the two exit lanes. The designated exit road would have forced us to make a right turn into those exit lanes, and there was a real question about whether we could make that turn, so we went the wrong way down a (two lane wide) one way road that allowed for a straight approach to the exit. It seems like a bad design: anyone using that dump station ends up blocking one of those exit lanes, and I can’t imagine what happens when there’s a line to use that station. All that said, we managed to get out without a scratch, and there were other large rigs in neighboring sites, so it’s just a matter of deciding if you’re up for the challenge or if you’d rather pick a different spot. In terms of cell service, the best speed I got on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna during our stay was about18Mbps down and 15Mbps up, and we had no problem surfing the web or watching streaming video the next morning. The best speed I got with my AT&T phone showed 13Mbps down and 4 up.

So I read a few reviews about this campground before going. I’ve never stayed at a KOA so this is a first time experience. The reviews are kind of a mixed yet they are all relatively accurate. Your view of this KOA will depend on the your purpose for being there. Yes, you can hear the freeway traffic from a distance but it was not distracting and was expected for the convenience of being an easy In-N-Out trip. My purpose was to get out for a short trip close to home with a pool and stuff for the kids to do. This is the first time I allowed myself to book a campsite without trees. Super nervous about that decision, but ended up being a very pleasant. Our spot as H99. It was very nice. Honey wagon very morning. Staff nice. Property clean.

For the life of me I can not see why people like this KOA Campground. $74 (including tax) and that was for the cheapest, smallest site in the place...3/4 of the sites are people living here full time. Everybody is packed in EXCEPT the vacant few fancy, expensive patio sites no one can afford. The droning of the highway 101 traffic is relentless. This is understandably "dairy country", and it rained a little while we were there. It smelled terrible of a barnyard with bugs and flies galore. It's a huge place with a friendly staff. By far the most expensive campground on our month long trip.

Staying one night, 12/22/21. Site is very unleveled and muddy. Nothing like the picture in the brochure. However, they do offer a lot of amenities such as the pool, play ground for kids, dog park. I am disappointed the park has dog breed specific regulations. I think it’s unfair and outdated. The park is overpriced @ $88 in my opinion but if you’re looking for amenities it may be worth the extra.

pros: really nice and clean bathrooms & showers, all the normal koa things (trampoline & petting zoo & pool, etc.), good service cons: tent sites were really close together and no privacy from neighbors, wifi was good near the office but not at the site, ***in the fall the nearby farms dump fertilizer on the fields and it smelled like literal cow shit the whole time I was there, so just be warned if you come in the fall!!!!!!***

One of the best KOA's we have ever stayed at. Definitely recommend. The only negative ( if you see it that way) was a group of cows Iman adjacent property. Nice level site. Mix of trees and open sites. Lots of full timers but well kept. Didn't really see anyone working and they didn't bring us to our site if that bothers you. We did have to hunt for our site.

Nice expansive camp ground. We had a nice pull through site set between redwood trees. Very roomy for our smaller travel trailer. Many different types of camping choices, full hook ups, pull thru, premium sites with patios, tent sites, and cabins. Staff was very helpful, check in was a breeze. Firewood delivered. Family liked the petting zoo. Good location to head to the beach and downtown Petaluma. There are a lot of spots at this campground with a lot of people. The campground did a good job enforcing the quiet time. Our spot was right near the gated entrance, which on Friday evening was real busy! Would definitely look for a site away from the front gate, which there are plenty.

Beautiful tall trees cover the older half of the campground. Newer spots have nice stone patios. Very nice to walk around the hills at sunset. Friendliness: Welcoming office and store. Nice staff. Campground was generally quiet. Site: Our site on the end of a row (#66) was worth the extra cost as it was great to have the extra space. Had a fire ring and picnic table. Large grass living space with large trees for shade. Location: Only about 15 minutes from groceries, coffee shops, etc. Wifi: Decent wifi and cable.

It’s a great place but also that will depend on you tipe of trip. I appreciate how clean it was but we did one night “pit stop” style, unfortunately it was in Memorial Day weekend, so you can imagen who busy and lout it was. Sure another day most be a deferent experience

This is a beautiful well maintained park. Great central location for vineyards, San Francisco, Sausalito, Tiburon. Good price. We stayed the month of September. All the facilities were cleaned multiple times per day. And the staff was really terrific. The ONLY detractor was the smell of the surrounding fields. At the end of the season they dump manure on the fields. The resulting smell and accompanying flies were annoying. We were told this is typically only the month of September. It didn't deter the campers tho. The place was packed every weekend!

We had a wonderful stay. The park is very nice and well kept, although it was during the Covid and most of the amenities were closed. Our site was well spaced and had a nice concrete patio with a table, chairs, and um fella and a fire pit. Short drive to the wine country and SF.
