Positive Aspects: The park offers a Good Sam discount and is well-maintained. It has a security gate that locks at 6pm and requires a code for access. The camping sites are well spaced out, with site 4 offering a level concrete pad. The camp store is well-stocked and the lavatory/shower facilities are kept clean and have climate control. A firewood vending machine is available, along with a metal picnic table and a fire ring with a cooking grate. The check-in process is smooth and the roads are easily accessible. Complimentary donuts are offered on Sunday mornings. TMobile service is good with 3 bars.Negative Aspects: There is constant noise from planes flying overhead from DFW International. Site 4 lacks sufficient shade. After rainfall, the concrete parking site tends to hold water about 3 inches deep. The utility pedestal has a bright light that stays on from dusk till dawn and cannot be switched off. Dogs are allowed to roam freely in the campground and some campers let their dogs bark outside all night. The picnic table is chained to the concrete. The WIFI speed is slow and not suitable for streaming.

An unexpected event occurred during our journey. We had to collect a family member from the airport, a journey that took approximately 12 minutes. Following this, we were able to unwind by the water's edge at an extremely pleasant and well-maintained camping ground. The plots were very generous in size. It felt secure!

The camping spots are well-distanced. The camp shop is quite pleasant. The individuals here are amicable. We spent a week working remotely with reliable mobile and WiFi connections.

After an exhausting journey through Dallas, we reached this tranquil location. The campground, owned by the city, is beautifully organized around a lake and marina, with all the pathways and camping spots paved. The camping spots are quite flat, surrounded by abundant greenery, and the staff is extremely welcoming. The camp store is well-supplied. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent and there are numerous cable channels. The camping spots are well-equipped with illuminated stands, furniture, and personalized fire pits. Firewood can be purchased at the store, eliminating the need for transport. The bathhouse is clean and offers privacy. I can't pinpoint a single downside. Well done, Grapevine.

This is a fantastic base for exploring the Dallas / Fort Worth region, offering top-notch lakeside full hook-up pitches with flat concrete bases. The water is great, and the 20/30/50 amp electric is always clean. The campground is immaculately kept, and the bath and shower facilities are always clean and well-stocked. It's generally a peaceful place, although there is some noise from planes due to its proximity to the DFW airport flight paths. Noticed a handful of pitches that seemed to be occupied by seasonal visitors or those spending the winter months here. I would certainly choose to stay here again!

Love love love this place. We had site 38 and loved it. The sites were separated with enough space that you didnt feel on top of each other. Power was steady, water had great pressure. The only issue was the weather. We hunkered down for 2 days during and ice storm. Wow! The showers were clean and the laundry I room was spotless. A definite return stop on our list.

We’ve been on the road for 3 months now and this is the best campground we’ve stayed at. Beautifully maintained, exceptionally friendly staff, overall wonderful experience.

Stayed here one night passing through the DFW area on the recommendation of the DFW Airstream dealership. We tend to work with fluid plans and assess our lodging needs with each day's travel. Fortunate to get a site at this park as they were experiencing flooding of the lake (consistent with another reviewer's comment). The playground was under water in front of our site, as were a number of their sites. Overall a really nice park with sites sufficiently spaced out. Bath house was clean, though in need of a routine cobweb brushing to keep the spiders under control. I would certainly consider this a great find for the DFW area.

What an amazing RV resort. This resort offers waterfront views on a spectacular lake with large sites they could easily accommodate any RV rig.

Would be 5 stars but this site just didn’t pickup the WiFi very well. The next site had a stable connection. Cable was good, excellent playground for kids.

We're not usually RV park campers but decided to splurge a little to be back in Grapevine where we used to live. This park is superb and very convenient to any area in NE Tarrant County. If it's your first time there, the camp host will direct you to your site and even line you up on the sewer connection. We had a waterfront site with the front of our TT facing East which was good for sitting out in the evening. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with a cold wind most of the time we were there. Our site was completely level with no need for side to side leveling at all. WIFI was good as was cable TV. This is a very busy place. You will need to make your reservation well in advance if you have a preferred location. We've already booked 7 days in the Spring in order to get the site we wanted. Some of the sites appeared to be kind of close together in some areas and there were some short pull throughs right alongside the road that gets quite a lot of traffic so chose carefully. The sites along the West side seem to be the best and the long pull throughs provide more privacy since you're end to end with other sites rather than side by side. There is a lot of traffic as they rent golf carts (gas engine) and bicycles. You can also rent kayaks and paddle boats as well. Although we didn't go in, there is also a camp store on the premises. Nice also that they give you an extra entrance tag so if you have guests they don't have to pay an entry fee. You can give it to them when they get to your site and collect it from them when they leave. If you need additional access, it's $5.00. Overall great place to stay, just bring plenty of $$.

Let me start by telling you how nice the folks are here! Incredible service from registering to support if you were to need it! Sure 51 was just a few feet away from the lake! Full hook up, Grill and fire pit! Picnic area in covered too! It’s obvious they put a lot of care to the property! Close to Downtown Grapevine which has so many cool stores and restaurants! Bathrooms are impecable! Full Verizon coverage there too! Sunday’s are free donuts at 9am!!!! Other things to do: SUP, kayak, pedal boats, and bike rentals! Close by is the Silver Marina where you can rent boats for ski and tubing!. Entrance is gated so you need to have a code to get in during after hours! If you are in the are you need to plan on stopping in!!!!

Everything we could ask for and more. Never stayed in a resort style campground before this but I can't imagine there is a nicer one. Well worth the money. Usually try to add something to help future campers but nothing about this place is a challenge.

This place has everything. You can rent golf carts, bike, kayaks, and paddle boards. On many sites, you can pull your boat right up next to your site. The week we stayed, the site was almost at capacity. Tons of families all out enjoying the park. Water access and views are easy to come by. Many sites have tree cover, but many don't so plan accordingly. The staff was very attentive to the entire site. If you have a camper, and live in D/FW, this is a great place to get away for the weekend with family and friends. Super accessible, and plenty to do in Grapevine. Main Street is just 4-5 minutes away. We stayed in spot #60, which is on the lower section of the park. Plenty big enough for our 38' camper and 2 cars. The park did have some lower sites that looked like had flooded the week prior, but most were open the week we stayed. W
