Stringers Campground

6215, Nanga Brook
Western Australia, Australia

Basic Bush camping right on the Murray River within Lane Pool Reserve (near Dwellingup WA)
This campground is best suited to those chasing a bit more privacy, as large groups aren't accommodated (each campsite will fit a maximum of two cars). You can fish from the river, just a short walk from the campsites but note you need a fishing license from Fisheries WA and bag limits and season closures apply. There is a wooden platform with steps leading down into the water which makes for easy access for a swim, or launching a kayak. If you do take your kayak, you are in for a treat as this is sectio of the river is quite beautiful, try trolling a lure behind you as well, you just might snag a redfin. Firewood can't be collected in the park, so make sure you bring your own if you want to use the BBQ pits.
