Bull Run Lake in the United States

Fish and wildlife area with free camping up to 3 days. Tent camped. appears ground fires allowed. no services. reasonable at&t coverage. at least 3-4 areas one could make camp on. seemed it would be ok for a small trailer/camper but probably not for anything larger. had a nice sunset view of the sky over the marsh. had a handful of people coming and going throughout the evening to fish. all and all a perfectly nice camping spot. and not the least of it the price is right!

It was alright there was noise from a nearby place. It wasn’t the best camping but it definitely worked in a pinch.

We got to the site in the morning and got a secluded camp site at the end of the road. The road to get to the camp site is narrow, bumpy, and rocky; not too bad driving in a truck. The site already has a campfire pit, but no picnic table. It was nice and peaceful at first, but we were able to hear vehicles from across the lake and a speed boat with 80s music playing (Journey to be exact). Near our campsite, we saw one moose mid-morning and another the following day. Pretty cool! Bring lots of mosquito repellents, mosquito canopy, mosquito anything!! There are lots of them and they will feast on you!!
