The park is exceptionally neat and tidy. Though the plots are compact, they are in good condition. The picnic tables are spotless. The plots are fairly flat. The cost is somewhat high, exceeding $90.00. The golf course seems decent, I'm not a golfer but there were others participating. Both the showers and the laundry area are immaculate. The Wi-Fi connection isn't strong. I would consider returning for an extended visit the next time we travel in this direction. It has a secure and sanitary atmosphere.

We stayed here for one night, just driving through down the 101 (not many places to stay). It would probably be really nice in the off season during the week. The site was big, but not very private. We were here on a Saturday night, and it’s clear that locals come here to party (noisily!). There were also huge family groups. We were only overnighting so didn’t put up the Starlink, but I doubt it would have worked in the big trees. In a pinch I would stay here overnight again (better than some of the other super cheap places on the route). Dog walking was mainly on the camp road (again, the river was packed with party people).

The owner of this park also owns the Benbow Inn & Restaurant next door, as well as the Golf Course too. Very busy park and expensive for the facilities. The hot tub has been broken for MONTHS. However, no discount offered for this. Staff is kind and helpful. As a paying guest, I expect to be able to utilize ALL of the advertised amenities. Apparently the owner has no intention of making repairs or conducting needed maintenance.

After driving the tight and curvey 101, we needed to pull over for the night and knowing what KOA are we thought we'd give this a try. The lobby is clean and we'll kept, stocked really good for everything you might need but. When you drive into the park you can scene the age of the place, the grounds are worn and run down and the sight are paved but uneven. The picnic tables are dirty and there are long term residents. You have to pay for WiFi $20.00 for 5mb and we have Dish tailgate and we could not get signal so, we changed over to their cable. Next we'll just keep driving down the road. Safe travels.

I stopped here for one night while traveling northbound on US101. The site was mostly level and it was clean. I only used the electricity hookup, and that worked as expected. The area was pretty, and there was some highway noise from the 101, but nothing that kept us from sleeping. The park was very accessible, and the playground was good for the kids.

This is a woodsy campground nestled by Highway 101. Our site was near the highway, but road noise wasn't bad. Small, short parking areas at sites, with plenty of grassy or shady areas for tents. Most campers here are tenters. We only saw a few trailers and one Class C. Dry camping. Water spigots nearby. Dump area closed. Bathrooms were recent vintage and clean. Coin showers worked well. (Token machine at bath house) Good woodland hiking trails. Small, riverside beach for wading or fishing. Close to Avenue of the Giants. Only Con is that the road in needs attention. About 50 yards is very rough, maybe from a washout. Needed our cell booster to get 2 bars of Verizon.

The campground is located in very nice and pretty location. It is pricey and the no phone or information to overnight stay after hours. Nobody picked up the phone or have site available/map for late hours.

Clean sites, not on top of everyone. Asphalt pads with cement pads for tables and bbq. You hear the 101 noise but not bad. Very helpful at the office and checking in. Looks like a lot of long term cabin stays.

The camp was clean, had a nice pool, and game room. Internet - wifi was poor even inside the office area. Staff polite. I use Verizon- it had 1-2 bars of service. It is next to the highway so it is nice for a stop over while passing through.
