Skriv en recensionOur usual routine involves stopping at complimentary camping spots during our journeys, but this year, due to the sweltering heat and the addition of a young canine to our family, we opted for a place with electrical facilities. We spent a night at this wonderful campsite to divide our journey. The proprietors were extremely friendly and took great pride in maintaining the surroundings, which included a dog park, a playground, restrooms, a laundry area, and a conference room. The site also boasted a lovely pond, although we didn't engage in any fishing activities.

Just stayed overnight but would definitely come back for a longer stay. Park owner is friendly and helpful. Sites are level and spacious. Only drawback I can think of is the sewers are at the back of the sites and we had to do some adjusting to get our satellite TV and sewer hooked up. Owner was helpful in finding us a site where we could get our TV thru the trees, helped us setup, and even mailed some cards for me when we left. Quiet park even though it's located near great shopping and a couple of truck stops.

I was impressed from the get-go by Tiffany in the office. Cheerful and welcoming on the phone, she was even more so in person. Helped me get propane immediately so I could pay for it and my site in the same transaction. She’s friendly, funny and kind, and really on the ball. If I owned a business with employees, I’d hire her to train them for customer service! As stated in other reviews, the sites aren’t intended for long term beauty stays but for a nice overnight on your way. However, I wouldn’t have hesitated to stay here one more night if I weren’t trying to stay out in front of a winter storm. It’s a pretty park, the amenities are fantastic, it’s quiet even though close to the road, and I felt safe. The welcome center really is that, with lots of wood giving you the feeling of being in a ski lodge. Warm, comfortable and containing the office; a lounge; laundry room with $1.50 wash and $1.00 dry on six clean, modern, well-maintained machines; a large meeting room with lots of tables and seating, where morning coffee is served; and two very large unisex bathroom suites, each with two toilets, sinks and showers. The latter are new and very nicely appointed, with all the hot water you could want. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and hope to!

We stayed here for a quick overnight on our way through Illinois. We called last minute and they had room and explained the late arrival procedures. The ground were very tidy and the sites were level. We stayed when temps were very cold and they advised disconnecting water if you didn’t have heat tape. Their water access was all insulated and easy to hook up to. They even had extra dog-bone adapters if you needed to convert 30 to 50 amp. Very considerate!
