non gradisce gli italiani da molti anni . ho provato anni fa a riservarmi un posto, ma non e' possibile prenotare. quando si arriva sul posto , fa finta di non capire. e in tedesco stretto dice che tutto prenotato nonostante molti posti liberi. dopo circa 20 anni di presenza a straubing cambiero' meta- vergognoso-

I got to Straubing camping at 19:30. I was travelling by bike with my husband and my daughter, 3 years old. Old man at the reception said camping was complete, even if I spotted many empty places. He said it was all reserved. I was a bit upset because at that time it was not easy to move again by bike, next camping was about 20 km away. So I insisted, asking if it was possible to get a very small place, we had just a small tent! He refused again, so we spent 10 minutes calling pensions and B&B nearby. Meanwhile I saw 3 GERMAN bike-tourists getting inside the reception and being accepted in the camping. So I asked them to help me translating to the reception guy, trying to understand why he refused to accept us. The man said the problem was that we had a small child and that night there was a huge beer festival in the town. So he was afraid that our daughter could not sleep and that we would have complained for the noise. So it was not safe.

Kleine camping vlakbij het verrassend leuke centrum van dit oude stadje dat ook nog banden met Nederland blijkt te hebben gehad in het verre verleden. We kwamen vrij laat aan, mochten zelf een plek uitzoeken en konden nog net eten in het restaurant. Sanitair was netjes en schoon. Let op, alleen contante betalingen, geen PIN of creditcard.

Zeer onvriendelijke beheerder, geen tentjes bij caravan of camper toegestaan.....?
