A very quiet forested camp near a lovely beach. Situated in tall forest 500m from a small cove and behind a rocky, heath covered headland. Specific sites are reasonably separated by bush. Good shade from tall Silvertop Ash and Red bloodwood with a thin understory of melaleuca and scrub.

A ridge top fenced paddock, very open (most sites without shade), gently sloping with bumpy tussock grass and some holes. A poor, scruffy camp. Potentially hot and dusty in summer. Dam water. There are caravan only sites and a grassed area for tent based camping.

Corringle Slips Campground

Located by the eastern mouth of the Snowy River (opposite Marlo) behind large sand dunes (which provide good wind protection). 24 Designated sites on level grassed sand (gravelled tracks) are well shaded by large Tea-tree and banksia.

North Head (Airport) Campground

Basic Campground, right on the beach and the Moruya River mouth. Amazing spot for fishing, beach bumming or just spending a lazy day. Although it is near the airport (very infrequently used) this is a very quiet and peaceful spot. Showers and flushing toilets.

Gundaroo Reserve Campground

Gundaroo Showground provides camping for caravans and motorhomes, as well as tents. Choose your own spot anywhere around the oval. There are hot showers, toilets and both Optus and Telstra mobile signals work here. AccessThis site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Old Kowen Homestead Campground

Suitable for large organised groups and set in Kowen Forest, Canberra`s largest commercial pine plantation.

Gunnai Beach Campground

Very small campsite behind Gunnai Beach in Cape Conran Coastal ParkThere are no facilities here, not even toilets. There are two sites available for pre-booking. Short walk over sandy track to the beach. AccessThis campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Cooks Mill Campground

A pleasant old sawmill clearing (partially revegetated) sheltered in a forested valley near the bubbling Little River. There are groups of scattered sites, semi-secluded by bush and distance, designed mainly for car/tent camping, however small caravans and campervans will fit.

Mount Franklin Campground

An unusual site, being located inside a volcano crater. The pine tree covered crater rim provides good wind protection. A range of mainly exotic trees provide ample shade and, together with short green grass, a park-like atmosphere. Bird life is limited.

Mt Korong Scenic Reserve Campground

A spacious reserve backed by the steep granite slopes of Mount Korong (364m). The small quiet picnic area (1 table) is level, grassed over granite with thin shade from a couple of large Yellow Gum and surrounded by wattle scrub. Rated 4.

Ditchfield Campground

A pleasant, lushly forested site on a level spur half way up to the Mt Cole plateau by the headwaters of Hill Creek. Well shaded by tall Stringybark and Mountain Ash. Most facilities are new. The parking areas are constrained and limited. Features a large hut and level, grassed clearing.

Mambray Creek Campground

This is a lovely shady campsite in the National Park. The sites are small and it gets quite busy during holidays. Has lots of wild life and a nice walking track along the riverbed. AccessThis campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.
