The Wi-Fi there wasn’t that good and that’s the only thing I could complain about. Everything was good for our one night stay.

The review I left was supposed to be for Riverside Campground on West Virginia. I can’t find a way to delete it! Oops!

We stayed in spot 8 across from the riverside spots. Lots of yard space for football throwing. Great trees for hammocks. Dave, the camp host, was so friendly and kept us generously stocked with firewood. Pros: lots of deer in camp, dog friendly, a few second walk to the river to play in, lots of crawfish, dishwashing station, large spots, hiking trails. Cons: GNATS!! We were swatting them away constantly (September 15-17), no water hook up, no sewer hook up, ZERO Cell service. It was a total dead zone. You fill up your water tank before you park, they do have a dump station. We would go back again because playing all day in the river was wonderful!

Basic no frills rv park. Dottie was very nice!! Great showers! Laundry was cheap. Met our needs at the time. Some full time residents, but they didn’t bother us.

We stayed overnight, arriving just before dark. The office lady was very friendly. We have a 45’ motorhome with a 8’ ft freedom hauler platform and a 4 door Jeep behind that. This was the first place we’ve encountered where we didn’t have to unhook the Jeep! The campsite was very spacious. The corners were wide open so that it was easy to maneuver around. No backing up needed!

First Impressions is this place is one big dusty parking lot. That hasn’t changed. Having said that there are a lot of positives. First there aren’t a lot of choices near Ketchum and this was o my $30. Cash or check only. There is a weekly rate of $180 or monthly from $575-$625. We had full hookups, great water pressure, 50 amp and excellent WiFi. And we work from our computers so that was great. There is a bathroom and laundry, but I cannot comment on that because we didn’t use.

Our space was decent sized. There are spaces in the middle that all the RVs are crammed together with slides touching. Those look like longer term campers. A lot of older trailers, but everyone did keep there spots tidy. This is a very basic campground. If you are here to spend your days out exploring the area this is a good spot. If you want to hang out in lawn chairs and enjoy the park, go somewhere else.

I needed WiFi and even though it was advertised as being at sites, it was not. I had to either go to the office between 9-5 or sit outside behind the office at a picnic table (with the bugs) Only one electrical outlet worked. My dog was not allowed on the grass. I was not allowed a campfire even in a ring. They did not follow Covid-19 protocol and one of the managers was overheard telling another resident that it was basically a hoax. Yikes. They did not wear masks and although bathrooms were clean, I wasn’t sure what was being sanitized. Dryers cost me over $5 to dry 2 loads of laundry. Not sure what the deal was, but it was way too expensive and time consuming. There were nice long-term residents but Overall it was not a welcoming place. I’ll stay somewhere else for vacation or work from here on out.

No WiFi in park spots. Office area only open certain hours for WiFi use (No Saturdays) Were told to “Stay off grass” to keep it “pristine”. It’s actually dry or non-existent in most slips. Same price for spots w/out sewer drains. There is a dump spot but the water doesn’t work in the faucet. Dryers don’t vent well and 30 mins costs $1.50. Then 5 min per quarter. Way too many little rules and they change without notice. Don’t expect a dog “park” as advertised. Loud traffic noise 24/7. One day my wife was in the shower in our own RV and one of the work campers who run the place actually came into our spot and turned the water off without a word and left. We couldn’t figure out why. The woman is nice to your face but talk to other campers about you. The man is rude and grumpy. Don’t know about the owner, but never saw him. Weird vibes all around. Camp at your own risk. Not worth it.

Stayed here for one night. Site with gravel. Campground attempting to rehab grass at some sites. Picnic table provided. Lots of mature trees. Able to level easily. Sites were all pull through with FHU. Light road noise, slept with windows open. Would stay again.
