On the banks of the Goulburn River, this campsite has plenty of room and direct access to the water. There is a nice sandy beach and swimming hole, so this site can be popular in warm weather. Easy access to the water with sandy beach, so launching kayaks is easy too.

With over 165 campsites to choose from, this large camping area is on the south eastern side of the Mornington Peninsula. The area is very busy during summer, so don't forget to book to avoid missing a spot. The reserve has a very active committee dedicated to preserving and improving the area.

Also known as Mountain creek. Camping in the Picnic Area near the town of MoonambelBasic facilities with long drop toilets, picnic tables and plenty of trees for shade. It is just out of town, and was empty the last couple of times I stayed here.
