Upon reaching our destination, complimentary doughnuts welcomed us. A staff member guided us to our spot and assisted us in settling down. Our exploration of the park was a family affair, with our children and bicycles accompanying us. A stunning stream became the recipient of our stone-throwing for several hours. The proprietor visited our spot and informed us of the available toys and games in the shared space for our children to enjoy. Anticipating our desire for s'mores, he initiated a fire for us. Their service was exceptional and exceeded our expectations! It comes highly suggested! We are eager to return when the trees are lush and verdant!

Spent four weeks here. Absolutely wonderful time. We've never encountered a more pleasant camping site. Strongly endorse it.

Loved staying at Zane Grey for the month of October. Fantastic sites, large, level and semi private. Showers and restrooms always clean. Laundry facilities kept up and $ for washer/dryer was low! Sites are kept clean, tidy even after wind storms. Easy drive to Sedona, Cottonwood, Prescott Valley and Payson. Everyone here was super friendly and made us feel at home.

The spots are huge, each with their own little fence! Water pressure is great and the power never had issues. They had donuts or Saturday morning and a bad playing in the pavilion at night - such thought out in to giving a good experience! They drag the roads daily as well as water (so they lie even and don’t have dust flying everywhere) IT was awesome!! They even came around regularly to blow the leave out of our sites (as it’s that time of year where they’re dropping like crazy!) Their fenced dog area has so many toys and obstacles - my big dogs loved it!! Theirs a creek onsite which my dogs also loved!!! Lots of mosquitos - but that’s just the time of year and area. Wi-Fi was so good we didn’t need to use our Starlink! And I work full time on zoom calls constantly! Also ran streaming services without ever buffering.

I really can't say enough about this park. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here, and it was even better than the first. They are in the throes of upgrading their WiFi to mesh, with a much higher bandwidth. Four bars on my T-Mobile phone. The place is immaculate, and they just added a new dog park. The Manager has secured a great team of work-camper (super friendly, and welcoming), and the park is very low-key, quiet. Superb! Also, Camp Verde has some decent restaurants; La Casita, JT's Bistro, and there is an Ace Hardware in town for the parts our RV's all need.

I very rarely give out 5 stars, Zane Grey RV Village deserves it. It really is more like a little village than just an RV park. There’s coffee and doughnuts on Saturday mornings, a food truck occasionally and byob happy hour with a live guitar player, I think his name was Dave. It’s a small park and very well laid out. The new dog park is great and they just installed some cool covered seating areas with solar flame lanterns and string lights for a great ambiance. The bath house is fabulous, and the folks working there are just wonderful. Everyone is smiling and pleasant. Will definitely be back. They have WiFi and, OH, there’s SHADE!!!

The park is landscaped very nicely with lovely full grown trees all around. They take meticulous care in maintaining the sites. We got a premium back-in site and the bushes on the sides made it feel quite private. The site was too short to have our truck parked in front, but we were able to just squeeze it in at an angle. The staff was very nice and helpful. About an hour from Sedona, but there are things to do nearby like visiting Montezuma’s castle.

This is one of the loveliest RV experiences we have had. Zane Grey is a 7 mile drive east of Camp Verde proper, but it is well worth the drive! The barks that are closer in to Camp Verde are parking lots with little privacy. Zane Grey has mature trees and hedges between sites offering the greatest privacy we have found. The grounds are beautifully kept and sites are clean and raked for a neat appearance. The restrooms are always clean and sweet smelling. Showers are spacious. There were four washers and four dryers in the Laundry Room. The owners and staff are very friendly and responsive. If you have friends you’d like to join you, but they lack an RV, Zane Grey has some incredibly nice park model cabins for rent, each with a patio and fireplace! We want to also mention the on site dog park. We really enjoyed our week long visit and believe you will too!

Space 28 is at the far end by their maintenance yard, since it’s on the end you have privacy on one side and your back end is up against a hill. The site was definitely long enough for our 35 foot trailer and our full-size Ford truck. It’s a very quiet campground and very well maintained. Since we were coming from Southern California and we were going to lose an hour, we were concerned about arriving after dark, because they do not allow you to pull in after 5 o’clock. I wish someone would’ve told us that they have a space available for after hours arrivals. It’s right next to the office and it’s space number 50. It’s a pull through site and you’re supposed to check in with them in the morning if you use it.

RV village is well built with level pads that all have a small wood fence. Full service back in and pull through sites. The are is well treed and we’ll build. It is also close to nature. Staff are super friendly. We’re here over the holidays and a Christmas brunch is offered to guests. The place is beautifully decorated with lights. Downside : You hear the road and some folks take the turn off at high speed and drive fast in the park. Mind the kids and the pets.

We arrived here on a Friday night and left Sunday. The campsite is very well maintained. We have ATT and had good service at the site. The internet is good, and they were able to help fix our issues. We were able to use Netflix on both TVs. It is on the pricey side but sites are beautifully maintained, huge trees/walking trails and a dog run. They also provided donuts and coffee sat morning @10am. Nice and place to stay 25 min outside Sedona.

Price reflects FHU, back in site with GSC discount. Large site, level and shaded. Attractive park with clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. Looks like some seasonals but sites are kept tidy. Adequate services in nearby Camp Verde. Workers are keeping the park tidy even to revving up the leaf blowers early on Sunday morning. 😠 (Could they wait a few hours on the weekends?) Campground free wi-fi is almost useless but we could have paid for better. We got good AT&T and Verizon was poor and in & out. We'd stay here again if in the area. Pleasant, friendly staff.

It is a nice enough RV park that is very clean and well managed and friendly helpful staff. The downside is that it is right on a busy 2 lane highway so it is noisy during the day. The sites are very tight and many have no privacy at all. The creek is accessible on a trail but only to a small portion. If you want to get to real running water and some riffles you need to navigate river rock fields and brush. We would only stay here again if it was an overnight stop on our way somewhere else. It did seem like others liked it better than us but this was our experience.

This little park might well be the second cleanest little park I’ve ever stayed (you’re probably wondering which park was first), check in was quick and easy, well shaded site was generously proportioned and utilities worked flawlessly. The park is obviously well managed. As soon as a site was vacated a crew was there to police up any trash and rake the gravel pad for the next occupant. Only negatives are weak Verizon service and close proximity to AZ 260 though traffic noise was unnoticeable inside the coach. There is very little truck traffic on that narrow and twisty highway. This place gets my highest recommendation.

One of our all-time favorites! The owners and staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The RV park is immaculate! They are always working on keeping it pristine. Facilities are excellent! The sites are great! Love the location by a beautiful creek! Very convenient to our hikes at Red Rock. Would never want to stay anywhere else when in this area.

We enjoyed our stay at Zane Grey RV Resort very much. After reading some of the reviews regarding rudeness of the staff I was a little leary when we were caught in traffic and checked in after closing. Upon our arrival we were welcomed warmly by the front desk staff and even though we were late checking in they didn't give us a hard time at all. Not sure where all the negative comments were coming from other reviews. We had weak AT&T service but enough to be able to get email. You have to pay for Wi-Fi which is a bummer for 9.99/3 nights. The camp sites are kept very neat, the staff take pride in keeping vacant sights well raked and very neat. The nice long dog run was great for our dogs which was an added bonus since there is no grass on the premises. You can hear noise from the highway but it wasn't enough to take away from the quality of the park. We would stay here again for sure.

This place happened to be on the way to our destination. It is the new standard that I will judge all other RV parks by. They have a friendly and helpful staff. The sites are dead level and immaculate. The rates are reasonable. The access is easy. They run a tight ship and it shows.

This is one of the best run parks we have ever stayed at. When calling to make reservations the staff made sure I knew about all of their current specials and tried to make sure I got the best nightly rate. We showed up before check-in and the were nice enough to help us check-in and get situated at our site even though it was their lunchtime. They gave use pamphlets of the area, local restaurants, a candy pack, and even dog treats. The park is immaculate and they take great pride in keeping it clean and tidy. The staff made sure they were not disturbing me while I sat outside during the day when they were doing maintenance and even took away my trash for me. The site is fairly large, with a great share tree, as most of the spots are. The dog run is well kept, along with the recreation area, and laundry room. We were able to work remote, stream video, game on Xbox using a mobile router on an ATT mobile sim getting over 20mbps minimum. Our cellphones using Verizon were getting speeds of under 2mbps. The park Wi-Fi using Tengo service stated service of 5mbs down and 2mbps up, but I was getting just over 2 down standing next to the WiFi repeater. The creek access is a nice added bonus, but the open space is small to access the water. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the park.

Mature tree lined large level pads that are well groomed. Quiet park and friendly staff. Planned to stay only one night ended up staying three.
