I showed up just past 5:30pm only to discover the registration office had shut for the day. The swimming pool, hot tub, and children's pool were all inoperative. The grass at my assigned spot hadn't been mowed and was up to my calves. There was no picnic table at my location. The campground store personnel were unhelpful when I asked about a potential refund due to the unavailability of the pool. To cut a long story short, I got a voice message later that night stating I could opt to cancel my reservation and get a refund because of the pool's closure. It would have been better customer service if this information had been attached to my check-in package. I departed after receiving the voicemail. I wouldn't consider staying here again unless I see future reviews praising improved management and upkeep. The price was way too high for what was offered.

Don’t stay here. I don’t recall having been in a site so unleveled like this one The internal are destroyed There is a mini golf that may have been amazing many years ago but haven’t been maintained since it’s conception The WiFi is really bad. Don’t pretend to work from here, even when the park was almost empty The cell phone signal is really bad too. We have Verizon and T mobile We left the trash outside as they asked but nobody pick it up Though the kids didn’t mind it the not so well maintained mini golf. They really enjoyed the amenities and playground. If you pretend to visit Chicago, this is not your place. It’s really far far away

Our site was beside the pool area with all the amenities. I don’t recall being in a site that was so I level like this one. The internal streets where destroyed. We left the trash outside as they asked and nobody pick them up. They have a mini golf that must have been amazing many years ago but it wasn’t well maintained too. Oh and don’t rely on working from here. The WiFi was so bad. Really bad and cell phones worked pretty bad too. We have Verizon and TMobile On the other hand, kids loved the place. They didn’t care the not so well maintained mini golf, they enjoyed it anyway, and they liked the playground Though I won’t stay here again, besides it was very far from Chicago. If your plan is to visit the city, don’t do it at this place
