Avoid staying here at all costs. My electricity gave out on a Sunday at 2 in the morning due to a fault in the pole. This wasn't a one-time incident, the electricity had been problematic throughout my stay until it finally failed completely. Two employees were present, an elderly man who claimed he could rectify the issue but refused to, stating he needed to supervise the younger employee. Despite their store being typically deserted, particularly on Sundays, and the repair only requiring a quarter of an hour. Thankfully, another guest lent me their power. The older employee's behavior and incompetence are utterly deplorable. It's completely unjustifiable to neglect a paying customer's needs. The elderly employee is an intolerable individual. I strongly advise against staying here.

Didn’t have a chance to unhitch the trailer when a gentleman about 5’ kindly guided us to our campsite. He told me the way to back into the site and when I did not follow the instructions he snapped. He said why are you not Fu&$@king listening to me and why did you have your wife get out of the vehicle. I dismounted the rig and told him where to go and lye in a ditch. He backed down and marched towards the office and said he is going to get his boss. Do not stay here other reviews mention this guy as Kevin but not sure if that is his name. If the managers/owners hire this type of help that says a lot about their values towards customers. Screw this dump there are better places to stay in the area.

This will not go down as one of the most beautiful or spacious parks I’ve seen. Many of the spaces are very close together, as was ours. There appear to be a lot of full timers, and many of those sites were not eye pleasing, for all that matters. However there are three separate ways in this in which this campground elevates itself from a three star to a solid four star review. First, all the campground people we dealt with, from the last minute call from the road to in person interactions, to host Don, were superb, based on their friendliness and accommodating nature. Second, the laundry room and bathrooms were very clean and well-maintained. But the most impressive thing to me about this campground is proximity to a great trail, the willow lake loop trail. I have a special place in my heart for campgrounds where I can walk directly from my camper onto a trail, and a memorable one at that. This one delivered. Although it took me three hours to make the six mile loop and is moderate on the whole, with a fair amount of elevation and climbing on rocks if you go in one direction, it was a wonderful hike and one I highly recommend. If you just want to do the easy, level part through fields, start at the boat ramp and go in a counterclockwise direction until it ascends to the rocks, then turn back. For a more challenging, beautiful and fun hike, while facing the lake, go counterclockwise from the boat ramp into the rocks. Have fun finding and following the well marked trail by looking for white paint marks on the rocks. I did the entire loop. In over three months on the road, this was the best trail from a campground that I have found. I also feel like we shortchanged Prescott, which looks like a cool place to hang out. We just used it as an overnight and to that extent for $40 I had water, sewer and electric. Can’t argue with that! This is a solid overnight choice and could merit an even longer visit, but there are lots of other campgrounds in the area and I can’t compare this to them. That’s why we have and love Campendium!!

We stayed here 14-16 May. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. Some spaces were very wide and accomadating, however ours was tight then they put a very small travel trailer in the next space. There was maybe 10-12 feet between our front door and his back bumper. The one highlight of this park is the adjacent park and zoo. There are many miles of hiking/bking trails.

Nice, friendly staff. Our lot did not have shade, but a lot did. Lots of HOT water, very clean bathrooms and clean free showers!

We love Prescott and decided to spend 2 weeks here at the start of our full time RV adventure. Everything was great. Super quiet campground, well shaded and peaceful. Spaces are large (25 especially!). Lots of full timers. Great laundry facilities. All employees were super friendly. Location is perfect. Near Riddle, 15 min drive to Whiskey Row and almost in the Dells. You can't beat being able to walk right out to the Dells for a hike. Would absolutely return.
