Write a reviewThere are several dispersed sites along the Williams River but many of them are not presently available because the road is closed just passed our site #19. They are doing some construction on the road and hopefully will be reopened. This site was very near Tea Creek CG. There was a table and trash cans and a nearby vault toilet shared with 2 other sites. Our site had a short path leading to the river. Site #20 you could see the river from the site. There are several hiking trails leaving from Tea Creek CG. The closed road is also good for walking and biking. Definitely coming back here!

Came across the sites accidentally when found that Tea Creek was closed due to Covid-19. These sites, also operated by USFS, were open. Had vault toilet and bear-proof trash receptacles. The camping area was a 4-site spot on FR-86, gravel drive in and up to camp sites, even had horseshoe posts set up. Williams River runs right next to it. No power, water available, it is boondocking. Quiet even though next to rarely used FR-86 road. Recommended.
