The employees were amicable and accommodating. The 50 amp electricity supply was satisfactory, as was the water force. The spaces were pebbly, tight, and uneven, with our RV just managing to squeeze in. There was also noise disruption from a nearby train and airport.

The grounds were pleasant. Gravel spots, pool, shade. The bathrooms were very dark and the shower heads were very low. It felt like I was showering in a cave. Staff was friendly. Wi-Fi was great.

Pros: It’s clean, easy to access, staff are nice, tight but big rig friendly, close to local attractions Cons: Wifi is unusable even for email or chat. I couldn’t measure the speed because I couldn’t even open the speedtest site. Verizon is at 1 bar without a booster, so if you work virtually like I do don’t come here expecting to stay long. There’s a statement in the brochure about not streaming lol… ok well it’s 2021 so there’s really no excuse for snail connections like that other than the owners going cheap on the customer. There is a rail line bordering the property, train comes through about 3 times a night but it’s not that bad unless you’re a light sleeper. Overall there’s friendly people here and this is well suited for an overnight stop. But don’t come here if you work virtually and depend on accessibility from either cell or wifi.

We haven't stayed in very many KOAs and I'm now wondering why. This campground was a lot of fun. It was clean and cheerful with good staff. The office had a really nice gift shop and they also sell pizza! The swimming pool and yard games all looked like fun. The train is really close by and it is loud but it's kind of cool. We enjoyed our stay very much and would stay here again if we are in Springfield. We highly recommend visiting the Dickinson Park Zoo.

We are camped here right now. It’s a lovely campground with tons of shade. The sites are a reasonable distance apart and our neighbors are friendly. We have a 20 foot camper so don’t know about big rig sites. I’m delighted with our site. WiFi is good and, since we’ve been out for a month with little or no WiFi, that’s very important. There is a train that is quite close but it’s not that loud. We’ve camped where they are much louder. We do have a sound machine and our A/C is LOUD. That hides the train noise well. This is a very nice campground.

Trains all night long, literally every 5-10 minutes running all night long. The park is literally 1,000 feet away from the railway and you hear them clearly. Unless you use a hearing aide that you can remove, or sleep like the dead, the trains will wake you up all night long. For the good, park is close to little downtown area with a few cute shops for Route 66 souvenirs. Staff was very friendly and the place was overall pretty clean and kept up. Trash cans were overflowing but that seems to be normal for most parks that I’ve visited. Gravel sites but pretty level with easy hookups. ‘ Because of the noise I couldn’t stay again or recommend.
