We spent a fortnight at this location during the Florida RV Supershow. The premises were spotless and the staff were amiable and eager to assist. The plots are situated quite closely to each other. It's worth noting that the resort is exclusively for adults, a detail not explicitly mentioned on their online platform. If we find ourselves back in the Tampa vicinity, we wouldn't hesitate to lodge here again. The resort is conveniently located near numerous shops, eateries and popular tourist spots in Tampa.

This place is fantastic. While I’m not necessarily of the “typical age range” here, everybody has been nothing but friendly and helpful. The staff goes above and beyond, and all sites are clean and well maintained. The only two complaints I have (which aren’t there fault so I can’t really point the finger their way) is that the only WiFi available is JB the clubhouse. It’s 2022 baby, we need WiFi everywhere, but obviously whoever knows that already knows that and has hotspots attached to their torsos. Only other complaint would be is the water pressure is a little low, but once again, not something that the owners can really have control over. This place is a solid 8.3/10. P.S. The ladies in the office are sweeter than a glass of iced tea by their gorgeous pool. Which I haven’t been in yet, but it looked awesome. But yeah, staff here is top notch. Just don’t come here cause then I might not have a spot next time. So disregard everything I just said. Thanks for everything you guys!

So many good things about this park. The sites are spacious, staff is friendly and rates are affordable....that's saying a lot since we were there during the winter months. The park also has a pool, hot tub, pool table and large laundry room. We will definitely return on our next visit.

We stayed one night at Southern Aire using Passport America. They were kind enough to put us right at the front so we could easily pull out in the morning, though all of the sites appear similar to ours. They are fairly narrow with a concrete pad intended to be your patio. Because it is older, the space between the utilities and the concrete pad is very narrow so you may end up having to put a tire on the patio. It is clear that the utilities haven't been upgraded in a while but we had no issues with power, water, or sewer. What is nice is that there are a large number of mature trees, mostly live oaks. We were underneath a beautiful one. The park is about 50% park models and the remainder available for RVs. There were quite a few empty spots during our visit. This was likely due to the closure of the border with Canada. All of the occupied sites were clean and the RVs were well cared for. That is not as common as one would like. I'm not a fan of RV parks/resorts, particularly in Florida, because of all of the rules limiting what you can do. I did not find that to be the case here. There were sensible rules but none of the crazy HOA type. I would consider a longer term stay at this park if I needed a spot.
