7 Mountains Campground is on its way to becoming a nice place to stay but it is not yet ready for prime time. Problems led us to leave after 1 night of a scheduled 3-night stay. We arrived at 5PM and were led to our site, a 30/50AMP, full hook-up pull-through site by a member of the staff. The site we were led to was already occupied by the RV in the adjacent site who had entered their site in the reverse direction. The RV in the adjacent site had an extensive set-up in the area of site 88 and resulted in no access to neither a picnic table, a fire-ring nor any outdoor space. The campers in the adjacent site were not home. Our first "not ready for prime-time" observation. We would hope a private campground would manage their guest's use of the facilities to prevent this problem. The staff member offered us the only other site available in the park, a 30AMP back-in that was designated "parking" for the adjacent cabins. Many times during the evening, cars were pulling in to park finding a trailer in what they believed was the regular parking area. This wasn't a huge problem but it was distracting. In addition, it was clear folks staying in the campground were accustomed to walk through this parking area (now our campsite) on their way to the WC, trash & campground play areas. Needless to say our new site wasn't really what we felt we requested in our reservation. The next morning we left and moved to a different campground in the area. We wrote a polite e-mail to 7 Mountains informing them of our departure and asking for at least a rebate for the two nights we were not staying. Even though their website has a visible and agreed to no refund policy, we felt that because the situation causing us to leave was due to their campground management they would refund our money. I write this review 2 days after our departure. We have had no response to our request. Again, not ready for prime time. Be cautious of a short-term stay as it appears the orientation of this campground's services are to their full-time, monthly & seasonal campers.

We have stayed here 3 times over the past few years and it has always been great. Last time they were doing some upgrades to the sites but it was in April. Dog friendly and decent wifi. It is off a major highway that gets a lot of traffic which is good for access, but adds that road noise in the campground.
