Dieser Platz ist unser Lieblingsplatz für Kurztrips am WE da wir nur 1 Stunde entfernt wohnen. Wir können diesen Platz nur empfehlen. Hier ist alles was man braucht (Badesee, Nordsee, Indoorspielhalle für schlechtes Wetter, ein riesiger Outdoorspielplatz, ein netter Ort). Die Sanitäranlagen suche ihresgleichen. Eine glatte 10,0. Auch in erreichbarer Nähe gibt es genug zu erkunden um auch längere Urlaube zu füllen: - Cuxhaven - 15Min - Bremerhaven - 30Min - Bremen - 45Min - Hamburg - 1:20Min - Otterndorf - vor der Tür :-) - das Cuxland selbst Fahrt hin und viel Spaß

„Sehr schön hinterm Deich an einem See gelegen. Sehr gepflegt, große Stellplätze. Viele Dauercamper (die meisten aber auf einem separaten Platzteil), das neue Sanitärgebäude ist superschön und immer sauber gewesen. Alle waren sehr nett und freundlich. Hauptsächlich Grünstrand, es gibt aber auch einen kleinen Sandstrand. Mit dem Fahrrad kann man schöne Touren machen. Am See gibt es einen Spielplatz, in der Nähe auch einen Abenteuerspielplatz mit Halfpipe für Skater. Der Indoorspielplatz (Spiel- und Spaßscheune) ist auch gleich beim See um die Ecke. Das Solebad ist allerdings etwas weiter im Ort drin. Brötchen gibt es übrigens morgens entweder direkt bei einem "mobilen" Bäcker oder im "Kramerhus" (so richtig einkaufen kann man dort jedoch nicht...., nur so das allernotwendigste). Dort gibt es auch eine Internetecke (15 Min für 1€). Fazit: wir kommen wieder! (wir haben noch ein paar andere Plätze in Cuxhaven-Duhnen und Dorum angeschaut...., kein Vergleich! Otterndorf ist echt Klasse!”

Op loopafstand van het strand. Dijk over en je bent er. Leuk stadje met goede eetrestaurants vooral vis. (verse vis rechtstreeks van de visafslag in Cuxhaven) goede fietsmogelijkheden. (OA. fietsen naar Cuxhaven langs de Elbe)
