Der Campingplatz liegt am Scharmützelsee mit direktem Zugang zum Strand (Wiesengelände) und zur separaten Hunde Badestelle. Großer Vorteil: Der Platz ist von zahlreichen Dauercampern belegt, die Plätze am Seeufer sind jedoch ausschließlich den Urlaubern vorbehalten.
