We had an amazing experience at one of the best RV parks we have ever been to! We had a spot right next to the seashore, which was worth the additional fee we paid (apologies, but I can't recall the exact amount as we booked quite some time ago). The park boasted a heated swimming pool, complete with recliners, tables, and chairs. There was also a communal area with a fire pit and propane heaters, ideal for this season. During our four-night stay, there were several activities including a communal meal, live music featuring chili and cookies, and a morning coffee and donut gathering! Unfortunately, we missed the water aerobics session the following day. The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. The National Seashore Park, located just over the bridge, offers stunning beaches and excellent cycling trails. There are also plenty of quality eateries nearby. We are definitely planning to return and stay for a longer duration. Although it's a bit pricey, we believe it's worth every penny.

The location is nice, good concrete pads and facilities nice. But i just cant get over the staff (most of them), were not friendly at all! Whenever i walked into the office to inquire about something, nobody even smiled or greeted or appeared as if they even wanted to look at me let alone help me. One of the thing they boast on their website is a firepit. I was really looking forward to a fire while celebrating my 50th birthday in late March in northern Florida. It still dips into the 50’s overnight there at that time of year, perfect fire weather. They would only say that the firepit area was “closed for the season” (as of the week before our vist). They said kids throw things into the fire and parents dont mind their kids, so they shut it down. They simply didnt want to set it up again for me even though i asked nicely for access to the firepit, which is right out in the open for anyone to sit there with adirondack chairs and everything. They just wouldnt provide wood so we could us it. Seeing all these other places available on campendium, i now realize i dont NEED a good sam membership, which is how i found this place originally. Anyway, based on customer service, 0 stars! Go elsewhere, there are plenty of choices in the area!

I loved Santa Rosa! The sites have nice palm trees and tropical foliage to help provide shade. Nice paved site that was extra long for us (30ft travel trailer). The laundry and bath facilities were nice and clean. The pool was amazing. The community area was nice. My family loved being on the Santa Rosa Sound beach. Very fun for my toddler. The playground was not great, but it made due. We received packages there and it was nicely organized. The sites are a little tight but it wasn’t an issue. I did not think it was loud like the other reviews and I have a toddler that is sound sensitive for sleeping. Not an issue. We stayed at Navarre Beach Camping Resort after this place and I desperately wanted to go back to Santa Rosa. Couldn’t even compare.

I booked a 3 month snow bird special but expectations didn’t measure up! Prices went up , xtra charges that I wasn’t notified about after I booked reservations! The sites are narrow, the plantings are nice but they water every nite and always water on my patio. When I complained I wasn’t given a warm welcome . I would not stay here again , the cost just isn’t worth it.

Amazing RV Resort. Sights are small but private due to landscape. Very noisy due to road nearby. That is expected in an urban area. This is the type of park an urban resort should strive to be.

Left Gulf State Park due to Hurricane. Rude at booking. Rude at check in. Refused to answer questions. Told to read my packet. Never checked on us before or after Hurricane. Got a lecture when my clothes wasn’t finished by time they wanted to lock door. Told I should have brought my kids to do laundry instead of going to beach. Their pool and beach was closed.
