Love this campground: great staff, spotless bathrooms and showers, great amenities and the location is superb. Property borders the beautiful Rachel Carson wildlife reserve with a kayak launch into a salt marsh full of wildlife. Lots of activities for kids and adults alike and many different options, from tent camping to glamping tents. Less than a mile from gorgeous Goose Rocks beach and close to the tourist town of Kennebunkport. Will definitely make this an annual trip. Only complaint is some sites in the mid section of the campground are close but the quiet hours are enforced.

We don't give 5 stars often but this place deserves it. Absolutely beautiful campground. Very large sites, each positioned in such a way that you really don't have a view of other people. Lots of evergreens put in between sites to give privacy. Large level lot, new electric pedastools. Full hookups. Great little front office and store that sells all kinds of stuff including alcohol. Very quiet the whole time (we're in the off-season though). Really have no complaints other than the WIFI didnt work for us but we have our own so we were able to work.

Great campground with fairly private sites around the perimeter in the beach rose area. There are some areas that the sites are pretty close together in the middle. Not a big resort type campground but does have plenty of stuff for kids to do here. Offers 3rd party kayak rental from its private kayak launch. Very quiet at night. Far enough from the highway so no road noise. Bath houses are newer and very clean. Rv sites have a mix of full to partial hookups. RV Sites were fairly level and clean. Staff very friendly.

This campground is what we compare all others to. From the moment you pull into Sandy Pines, you just know that this is going to be an experience. THE cleanest, most modern amenities you can imagine all within a wooded area in beautiful Kennebunkport. I mean, come on, you can kayak from the campground right to Goose Rocks Beach?! Seriously?? The saltwater pool is gorgeous, activities are fun - plenty to do for the whole family. Counting down until our return trip this summer to Sandy Pines!

We stayed twice over the course of 3 weeks. It is a great campground. Well maintained and peaceful. Our sites were pull thru however we tried to get into site 22 which is not. We were able to get in but it was so un-even that all 3 tires were in the air. I did not have enough boards to put under them so we asked for another site(pull thru) that worked for us. They offer kayak rentals and the pool is nice. The speed bumps on the way in are pretty rough on a super duty chassis truck, but if it keeps the speed down for the kids it is worth it. Both Verizon and ATT had great signal and awesome up and down speeds.

We stayed two nights at this campground and it was absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of spots to camp, but everything was nicely privatized so we didn’t feel like anyone was encroaching on our site. It’s a great wooded campground about 4 miles to town, which was a nice bike ride in.
