The correct/updated phone # is 903.345.5832. I called a few days prior to make sure I could dump and refill when in the area. $10.00 fee is paid at the office. I pulled in to a spot that wasn’t being used and quickly completed my task. Good to know there’s a place in the vicinity just to dump & refill.

This is a tough review since it is not all bad. The need for improvement though it’s great and due to some thing already set in concrete it will never make it. The “Campground” needs to be removed from the name. With concrete pads set five feet apart, it is just a RV Park. Campgrounds leave some room between campers. Not so at Pine Gardens. Also, with no picnic tables or fire rings it really can’t be a campground. The people working at Pine Garden are friendly and helpful. The pool is nice. If you fish with a boat, their launch will be good for you with plenty of space to park your truck while you fish. The 50 amp service is proper and working while water service seemed clean with good pressure. Like a lot of RV Parks in East Texas there are a lot of permeant “campers” in the rear of the”park “. But the sites back there are closest to the restrooms/showers and are in the trees. What is left for a regular camper are tight sites in the sun. Finally although WiFi is usually not great at RV Parks, it is non-existent here. And at $50 a night I certainly thought some WiFi would be available. So just because they charge like a RV Park, maybe it isn’t even that. I did learn a lot on this trip to Pine Gardens RV Park and Campground. When the places website has no photos of the sites and the reviews are two years old it can’t be good. Think about it.

Rented cabin #4 Memorial Day weekend. It was filthy. Cigarettes ashes all over the tables, toilet was dirty, other tables had crumbs on them. I choose to clean the cabin myself. We stayed that night. The A/C was HORRIBLE. We left early that morning for the plans we had. Returned later that afternoon/early evening to see if the a/c would be better, it was not. We chose to leave the premises. Gave the cabin key to a friend. The next day, Sunday I called the office. Explain all the above. The lady in the office stated we would receive a refund for one night. As of now, I have not received the refund. Therefore I called to inquire about the refund. Spoke to a man, stated he was the owner, explained all the above. Refused to provide a refund. They were completely booked. Didn't care the cabin was dirty, didn't even thank me for cleaning it. Just a FYI: the cabin are as large as an apartment bedroom, not TV. They charge $89.00/night. Biggest JOKE. Just giving all a heads up. If you rent a cabin bring cleaner, trash bags, your own a/c and a TV if you would like to watch TV.
