CV-19 doesn't mean much here. This is a large campground with lots of tent camping space. Most RV/motorhomes are seasonal. The CG was showing symptoms of late season, but toilets, showers and pool were open. Everyone was friendly. Twice daily garbage pickup. Great access to historic Galena; a Walmart and mini golf are right next door.

Lots of gravel/grass sites w/tables that are very close together in the first 2 rows (first row sit above the second row #s 28-68). We were lucky lots of empty sites on either side of us on a Saturday night but not across the road or behind us up on the hill. Sites across from us are double pull-thrus? Sites in other sections (#s 75 and higher) have more space between and most sites could accommodate large rigs. Tents are welcome and were mostly in the back of the park. Sour sire was fairly level. Lots of big shade trees, showers (didn’t use), and a pool that was still covered up. Laundry too but only open 9-5 (didn’t use or see inside) It worked for us as an overnight to see Galena. Others were here with large groups and lots of kids enjoying themselves on Father’s Day weekend post-COVId. Easy access, quick check-in, and free WiFi that actually worked for emails, online (we don’t stream).
