The Campground needs a bit of TLC. The sites are close together and leave little room. The utilities are overgrown with vegetation and when I asked the staff if they could chop it down that said they did not have the tools. The views are nice but I would go elsewhere.

I reserved two nights and decided to stay two more. I liked my spot, #18, which had a paved pad surrounded by abundant gravel and morning and late afternoon shade. I also like that some landscaping created a physical barrier between sites. The office staff was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The park is small and is adjacent to a marina. Both look old and portions seem overly weathered, though parts of the RV park were acceptably maintained. Other sites were full sun and some sites were all dirt, some sites had deteriorated asphalt pads, some sites were all gravel, which looked thick and freshly spread. I was there mid-week in July, about 2/3 of the sites were occupied, many appeared to be long-term, those sites were reasonably well kept. A few other sites were occupied by campers but in the four days I was there I saw no one occupy them. The marina was moderately busy but that had little impact on the RV Park. I will stay here again if I can get #18 or a similar site and I really like that this park is about a mile to the Village. Moderate ATT 5G signal. The campground WiFi had good days and less-than-good days. About $75/night.

We just bought our first camper and have never been camping with a trailer. We had watched tons of videos and read up on how to hookup a trailer and wanted to go somewhere for a trial run. This was the perfect campsite for that! They have full hookups and the site we were in required minimal leveling. The grounds are very clean and quiet. They have a small store where you can buy water and drinks. Their wifi isn’t the fastest but we weren’t here for the wifi anyways. Very nice personnel. Will definitely camp here again.

The Holloway's Camp Ground is well maintained and restrooms are clean. I stayed in location 12 but would recommend positions 74-79 if you don't want to be on lake side positions. The lake side views are not all that great. There is a large parking space designated for checking in right next to the office. It is about one mile to the Big Bear Village which is the area full of boutiques, bars and restaurants. Nottinham Tavern is very dog friendly and gives your dog a bowl of water.

So I was in Big Bear and staying at a wilderness site in my RV. I need water and to empty my gray and black water tanks. Called around to a few spots and got shot down. The over all consensus was if I wasn’t staying at that location they really didn’t care to help me. Until....I called Holloways’s. They were so nice on the phone and in person. Really helpful also. It cost me a few bucks to get water and empty the tanks but well worth it. When I go back to stay at a park it’ll be Holloway’s Marina & RV park. If they have room. Thank you for the help.
