My husband and I travel for work and needed a spot for a month. This was a little off the beaten path but was worth the few extra miles. This place is geared more toward families camping for the weekend than someone looking to stay a month. But the owners as well as the other campers were super accommodating and made the stay very enjoyable. There seems to be a close knit group of folks that come here often. They have an informal church service at a pavilion located on the property and welcome everyone without being pushy. As far as cell service, we have Verizon and could only receive texts and even that was sometimes a little shaky. My husband and I were able to walk/drive right down the road and pick it up though. They have a pond and encourage family fishing and bonding. There are several primitive style cabins available as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a positive camping experience and spend some down time with their friends or family. The owners Dawn and James take pride in their little slice of heaven and it shows.
