Gunbower Island Campground

Gunbower Island is formed by Gunbower Creek, an anabranch of the Murray River, which begins at Torrumbarry and joins back into the Murray at Koondrook.
Gunbower National Park and State Forest are located on Gunbower Island. Some campsites have tables and campfires. There are areas of River Red Gum forest and Box forest, and wetlands to explore.

Access
This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there
There are many campsites on the banks of the Murray River and along Gunbower Creek which can be accessed by the main tracks which follow along the forest perimeter - enter via Cohuna, Koondrook or Gunbower townships.
