For two months in the winter, we resided in one of their campgrounds. We were unsure of what the experience would be like prior to our arrival, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff was welcoming, the scenery was beautiful, and the location was convenient - it was only a short distance from Glenwood Springs, a half hour from Costco, and under an hour from Vail. Despite its proximity to the city and the highway, the campsite was quiet and peaceful. The surrounding rock formations and lower elevation made it less breezy and more temperate than other nearby camping areas. Highly recommended!

The park is right on the Colorado River in a very narrow canyon with gorgeous mountains. Flat, gravel site with FHU's, good spacing. Interior roads are good. Laundry facility had (2) machines, overpriced $4 per load. Lots of cabins, "glamping tents", campsites right on the river if you so choose, and they have a nice clubhouse area (appeared not used during our stay). Nice walking/bicycling path runs by the park and follows the river east to the Hanging Lake Trail area and west into the town of Glenwood Springs. On site there is an outfit called "Defiance Rafting" that runs non-stop whitewater rafting trips on the river. Very nice resort. Wifi was pretty touchy/slow. Hanging Lake Trail is a must.

Overall we really enjoyed our time at Glenwood canyon resort. I wouldn't say the RV park is anything fancy and not sure why the prices are so astronomical. The laundry was also the most expensive we've seen. However, the canyon that the campground is in is beautiful and quiet. The access to the river was convenient. The employees were very nice. Site size was adequate. Really no complaints and we'd stay again if we were in the area.

The views here are stunning. We stayed down by the water and only had electric and water. There is an on-site dump station that is quite small, larger rigs will have an issue with the station. On-site laundry and cell phone coverage is decent. If you stay down by the water there is a set of tracks directly across from you and trains will run randomly throughout the day and night. We had them at 10:30pm, 11:00pm 2:30 am, 3:00am, 5:26am that I can recall. They start breaking for Glennwood Springs so you get to hear a nice squealing for a few minutes. The park was nice and clean, bathrooms and showers available. Water pressure mimics that of your rv, so more space is the feature. Site are crammed together, no real room to spread out on the water lots.

Something about the sound of running water drops my BP. If you opt for the waterfront spots you won’t be sorry. Flat. Literally feet from the CO River. Rafting & zipline available here. We needed a “treat” night before a stretch of dry camping. This was perfect.

I would not call this a resort. Gravel parking lot, with adequate bathhouse. Pay extra for crappy internet. The sites down by the river looked best but only for smaller Riggs. Staff was very nice. Lots of cabins for rent. Grounds crew making lots of noise all day. Great bike trail runs next to property.

The scenery is breathtaking and close to town. The sites are gravel (not so level) but very clean. Check-in was super easy. Our sewer hook-up wasn’t working properly. Super disappointed that despite the lovely weather, all the fun stuff was closed - the adventure course, zipline, playground and bar/grill. Weak wifi at our campsite despite being right next to the bar/grill - we had to use our hotspot for everything. Laundry facility is small and could use updating, but it got the job done. We did not hardly hear the train. Overall, the gorgeous surroundings made it all worth it.

Was reserving site saw 85 dollars . I said what the heck, looks nice. Then they throw resort fees on you also. Resort fees are a Deal breaker for me.

What a great find this place was. Down on the Colorado River and just outside of Glenwood Springs. They have something for everyone, whether it's tents, cabins or RVs of any size. There's also river rafting, zip lines and rock wall climbing. Staff there was amazing and very friendly! Highly recommend if you're staying in the Glenwood Springs area!

Shockingly expensive. If you have kids do not stay here. Seven dollars per child per night. Unreal. I have no idea what that fee is for. There is no pool. The playground is closed. I asked about the expense I was told if I have my own bike I can ride on the paved path...it isn’t located on their property. On the plus side, if you want to test your shocks the 8 angled speed bumps on the way in and out will do just that. The train sounds even louder as it echoes through the canyon. Enjoy.

We have a 45’ Motorhome towing a Jeep. Campsites accommodate our rig size but we did have to unhook our Jeep to get around tight corners. Not a big deal. Camp staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They suggested great hiking and biking routes right in the area. An additional surprise - they delivered our Amazon orders directly to our campsite! Thanks Kevin!

We were caught unaware of the need to have reservations everyday if our trip but this year is different. This place had an opening and we grabbed it. All the amenities are here, staff was very polite and helpful, right in Colorado river. The cons: we are so squeezed in together it feels unsafe during this time of social distancing. The woman next door has two bug zappers she is swinging around. The cars are so crowded it’s hard to move. I am sure it’s a great place for many people but not our style.

Great river front sites in a beautiful canyon. Onsite rafting/tubing outfitter and close to Glenwood Springs. It does get windy and dusty. Had to drop a star for experience with front office and restaurant manager, had poor experience with both. But would like to come back and spend more time as there is a lot of stuff to do.

We stayed here for easy access to the Glenwood Canyon bike trail; a paved path that goes along the Colorado River. The campground is beautiful and there are onsite activities such as rafting, zip lining, climbing wall and a restaurant. Glenwood Springs is 3 miles away and has even more activities. The sites along the River are very close together, but have a great view of the River, canyon, and an occasional train.
