Fantastic location! We set up camp in late March and had the place to ourselves! The Verizon network was strong and StarLink also performed excellently! The camping areas were generally tidy. It was a breeze maneuvering my approximately 50-foot long vehicle in and out. The incline to reach the site was sharp, but my truck handled it without a problem.

I have camped all over the USA and Canada and have never seen anything this bad. The county and local off road club need to get their act together and clean this place up or close it.

The entrance road is incredibly strep, but only for a very short section. 4WD tow vehicle not a requirement, but definite benefit. Don’t attempt if you are close to maxing out on your tow rating. Be cautious, know your limits. Huge pull through and backup sites. Definitely still hear interstate traffic and ATV/motor cross/truck traffic during daylight hours. Lots of rubbish left at sites. Great antenna TV signal and cell signal. We stayed at pull through closest to overlook. Reasonably level gravel pull through. Probably very exposed, if windy. Early Nov meant we had the place to ourselves. Can see it being busy in summer and nice weather. Vault toilets available, didn’t use them.

Stayed here on a Monday night. I wouldn’t stay here on weekends. Monday was quiet and we were the only ones here. Had our pick of slots. Weekends seem to be the OHV crew as there are a lot of trails around. The entire area has been logged a d it appears as though the county or logging company built this for the community. Cool idea and it works. Sites are level. No amenities. Road is 17% grade to access sites. Wouldn’t recommend if you are near your tow capacity. Fine for up to 35 foot trailers I’d say.

A super camp, especially for off-road toys! Nice, big sites, a couple with pull-through capability. 17% grade sounds scary but road is well maintained and we had no trouble navigating.

We were looking for a place to spend the night as we drove from Boise to Seattle. And we ended up staying two. Our original choice was closed due to fires so this was the next best close to town. The views were amazing and the elk bugling in the morning was super cool. Other noteworthy things: there appear to be some full time residents but they were super nice. And it’s right next door to the motocross course so it was noisy for a long time Saturday but quit as soon as the sun went down.
