A wonderful campground centered around dogs. There are large and small dog areas, a large pond, an agility course, a coursing area, and a couple of private areas for dogs that may be a bit antisocial. There is also a trainer on site. The campground is well laid out with sites not too close. There are also cabins, trailers and yurts for people without an RV to stay in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. My Corgi and I had a wonderful time.

This was our second trip to Four Paws. Staff is friendly and helpful. Go slow coming in off the main road as some areas have a few pot holes and it's about a 6% grade. This is a beautiful wooded campground that is thoroughly maintained.

An adorable little campground about an hour away from Asheville. We were in the are to watch the leaves turn and this was the perfect RV campground for us. We stayed three nights with our dog, who didn't want to leave. They have several dog runs for large and small dogs, a pond in which dogs can swim, and a private dog run in case your dog needs a little more space. We participated in the happy hour and made new four-legged acquaintances -- very fun!! Our dog received complimentary homemade puppy ice cream and didn't want to leave. That weekend they offered musical entertainment and pizza to-go, made on site. Very yummy. We will definitely be back and hope to bring friends and their fur babies the next time. For those who may not have a camper, they do have yurts and tiny houses on the property.

Had been planning a trip up the Outer Banks. Hurricane decided otherwise. Made a reservation here last minute for 2 nights. Ended up staying 4. It’s a great campground. Incredibly well maintained. You can tell the owners love and take pride in their business. The staff was always out working to maintain and improve the grounds. My dog absolutely loved it here (especially the pond park...she’s a lab). There are many fenced dog parks for the pups to get off the leash and run. We were always able to have a park to ourselves even when it started filling up towards the weekend. Beautiful area of NC. We spent a day up at Lake Lure and Chimney Rock playing in the river and enjoying the views and much cooler weather.
