The personnel was amiable. We dined at the adjacent Black Bear Eatery, where the food had a homemade feel and was quite enjoyable. Our vehicle was stationed in the pebble-filled parking area near the gambling establishment, with only one other car present. It's worth noting that this location is situated near a railway line. Although there were no blaring horns, the trains were operational throughout the night. It would be wise to carry ear protection.

I stayed in this lot west of the casino. It should be noted there is a long and wide swale running parallel to the highway about halfway into the lot. The semis parking there can bridge it. Those with long trailers will have to be strategic in parking there. The restraint adjacent to the casino is a Black Bear Diner. That is a growing chain headquartered in my hometown and serves a variety of great food. Unfortunately it was closed do to a “power outage” while the conjoined casino was going full tilt. So my hot meal plans from a massive chicken fried steak dinner became a 7-11 hot dog as nothing else is within walking distance and I wasn’t able to disconnect. Highway traffic abated late at night. Trains pass by without horns - slight feel to passing. Lot experienced wind. I used large semi as a blocker to some degree. Not a bad one night stopping point in Fernley if you want ti stay put. It was clear that truckers overnight here. Park perpendicular to the road if you are first in. Television over antenna was excellent.

We parked on the side of the casino across from the 7/11. It was noisy when the train or ATVs went by, but other than that, it was perfectly fine for a one night stop over. There was only one other RV in the lot when we stayed.

Stayed here one night while driving through on the main highway. Very quiet. Only one other vehicle there. Lots of walking trails right next to it for dog walking. Can also use the trails to access Starbucks and grocery outlet without needing to drive. Felt very safe

We (gratefully) found this place to park on this ap. We rolled in around 11 PM. There are two lots, we parked further from the freeway next to the semi trucks. There were two trucks here, and there were two other campers in the East lot. Fairly level gravel parking area, great Verizon coverage. Excellent restroom facility inside the casino. This place however is right next to the train tracks and though they don’t blow their whistles, they did come by a few times during the night and it was very loud. Lots of road noise from the freeway and the road surrounding but all of that was to be expected. We would stay here again in a pinch.

Very small casino with a pretty big parking lot. There are lots on either end of the building. I stayed in the lot on the east end...all by myself. The west lot had a few trucks and a camper van in it. Yes, I-80 is close by, and, yes, there is a train track right behind the casino, but that is the case almost everywhere you stay along I-80. The train did roll through at night and wake me up, but I did not hear any whistles. Overall, quiet and peaceful. Easy-on and -off the Interstate. Level lot. Good experience for me.

Overnight parking is allowed in gravel lots on both sides of the casino/restaurant. No permission needed. The restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. The casino is non-smoking! It's billed as the only one in the state that's non-smoking (although with Covid we've now seen several casinos that have "outdoor" smoking areas and no smoking or vaping indoors). There were several semis parked in the south lot, but we didn't see anyone. It was quiet and felt safe. Easy access from the freeway. Didn't check the north lot, but it's closer to the freeway exit so I would expect it to be a bit noisier. There was a large puddle (therefore a depression) to drive through, but fairly level once you're in place at the back. We were able to easily pull in a large arc and position ourselves for backing into place. We're 68' with a Freightliner and 45' toyhauler. We didn't notice any noise, but ran the generator all night for A/C due to the excessive heat. Didn't check cell coverage, but since it's in town I would expect some carrier(s) to be OK.
