The other park in town has very weird utility set up so we tried this park for our three days in the area. We'll stay again when passing through. Staff are very nice - their site-delivery meals from the little cafe is a fun treat - and unexpected in a little town with three eateries. The food was good too. The back-in sites along the highway are just feet from the road. Our pull-through site was decent size and all our utilities were on the same side per usual. There were two electrical hookups and the first one kept shutting off so we were happy to find the second one worked fine. No signs to say which one to use and the staff person who came to check didn't seem too concerned. Some sites with permanents are pretty run down and ill-maintained, giving the park a need for some TLC to live up to its potentional. Every big rig that passed on the highway was felt in our motorhome but there was surprisingly little noised overnight even with windows open.

The Roads We Roam

We stayed for one night at site #14 which has a large yard area. Other sites are fairly close to one another and the pull-thrus have an odd set-up with sewer on one side and water/electric on the opposite. The park is right next to the main road, but there was very little traffic throughout the night so it was incredibly quiet. Internet is available but not good for streaming music or uploading.

Price reflects FHU, 50 amp, long pull-thru site including 10% Good Sam discount. Very nice, shady site with plenty of grass and room. Close to Grand Coulee Dam and Lake Roosevelt. Great cafe with tasty food delivered to our door. Small laundry room was clean. (We no longer use campground restrooms/showers due to COVID.) Campground wi-fi was adequate for email but we had good AT&T service. The only down side was being close to Highway 2 with traffic noise, especially semi trucks as the area ramps up its wheat harvest. I liked it here, friendly folks. Would stay again.
