Our 5-day experience at the Chokoloskee Island Park Campground was truly delightful. The site offers between 10 and 20 temporary RV locations and is home to many long-term dwellers, most of whom are extremely enthusiastic about fishing. The cleanliness of the camp is commendable and the personnel are exceptionally amiable and helpful. Although the sites are situated quite near to each other, it doesn't cause any discomfort. The campground provides plenty of activities such as kayaking and fishing, and the sunsets are simply stunning.

Beautiful view of the Gulf and mangroves from the marina dock. All services were excellent! Manager was a great guy and very helpful. Was concerned about T-mobile cell service but have 2 bars of 5G

We wanted a relaxing old Florida feel and we found it! Chokoloskee was a complete hidden gem. The sunsets are spectacular along with the stargazing, but the FISHING was out of the world. Cell service is hit or miss, but we were happy to disconnect for a bit. The rec hall has a full kitchen if you want to cook with an oven or if you are a tenter and need to store some cold items. The staff is super friendly! We had two dogs that we camped with and did not have any problems. We are definitely coming back again and probably again after that. I already told my father who is an avid fisherman and loves camping. Also, if you don't camp they have rental units available as well.
