Veel te veel stacaravans, de tenten en "gewone" caravans staan tussen de vele stacaravans, huisjes, chalets.... Ik heb het gevoel dat je als je met je eigen tent, caravan.. komt dat ze je maar ergens een plaatsje geven waar er nog plaats is. Sanitair hopeloos verouderd en niet schoon. WC blok is een schande. Restaurant is waardeloos en je betaalt veel te veel, Wel mooie omgeving, Saint-Denis d'Oléron is mooi, gezellig en er zijn veel goede restaurants. Goede uitvalsbasis om te fietsen. Wat veel goed maakt, is de enorme vriendelijkheid van de Fransen zelfs. In augustus gaan zij op vakantie en dit is echt zalig!! Elke dag een vriendelijke "Bonjour" Kortom, wij komen zeker nog naar ile d'olèron maar het zal niet meer naar die camping zijn!!!!

Leuke camping op een mooie plek. Wij waren met een grote familie en hadden geschakelde (dubbele) chalet voor 10 personen. Op het ruime terras stond een perfecte gasbbq. De chalets waren schoon en in zeer goede staat. De zwembaden en glijbanen zijn leuk. Het strand is inderdaad rotsachtig maar een klein stukje verder is wel zand. Je kunt bij eb heerlijk zoeken naar krabbetjes tussen die stenen. Er is geen campingwinkel maar je kunt wel wit stokbrood en croissants bij het restaurant bestellen. Het enige nadeel voor ons was dat wij de enige Nederlanders waren. Voor de kinderen was dat wel heel jammer. De Franse jeugd spreekt ook geen Engels dus vrienden maken was er niet bij. Ook de animatie was uitsluitend Frans.
