Het leek ons een prima camping om door te trekken en iets te zien van Toscane. Dit bleek niet zo te zijn. We kregen een plekje met schaduw die groot genoeg was voor onze tent en auto. De rest van de camping is praktisch leeg. Op een paar Italianen na die (denk ik) de hele zomer verblijven en dan ook zon beetje alles mee hebben (hond, kat, tv, stofzuiger, grote koelkast, etc). Het sanitair was prima. In 1 gebouw hebben ze alleen sta toiletten. In het andere toilet gebouw hebben ze wel normale wc’s. ‘S avonds is er wel een avond programma. We zijn even wezen kijken en het zag er wel gezellig uit. Toen wij even naar de supermarkt waren op het camping terrein is wel onze portemonnee gestolen die in de tent lag. We hebben dit gemeld en ze vonden het erge vervelend maar konden helaas niks doen. Maar iemand had dus wel in onze tent gerommeld. Het restaurant heeft erg vriendelijke bediening. Ze spreken een woordje Engels en deden erg hun best

Wij zijn weer terug uit Italie, waar we twee weken op camping Principina in een safaritent hebben gezeten ! Wij hebben daar een fantastische tijd gehad: de tent was super, het strand echt "mooiste van de omgeving!", mensen op de camping zeer aardig (en echt alles Italiaans, Heerlijk!). Wel zo Italiaans dat er rekening gehouden moet worden in hoogseizoen met elke avond tussen stipt 22h00 en 24h00 hun italiaanse avond op de camping dat wat "geluid" met zich meebrengt, de ene avond wat harder dan de andere, maar wij vonden het erbij horen en hebben ons er absoluut niet aan gestoord. De overige tijd is het super rustig en ook na 24h00 absoluut geen lawaai. Bezoekje Rome meer als de moeite waard, Sienna fantastisch...en de vele kleine dorpjes in de regio ook super! Alleen het mondaine Porto San Stefano viel ons enorm tegen....maar verder Echt voor herhaling vatbaar.
