The strength of the Camping is the swimming pool. It is owned by the municipality, but the entrance is free for people from the camping. Great swimming pool, indoor and outdoor, with lots of space.
We were in a bungalow, quite old and a little bit outdated. But the place is great, well thought, ideal for children. The activities destined to children are interesting and the guy in charge is dynamic.
The owners are discrete, but you can always find them to discuss.
It is possible to eat, it's not what I would call a restaurant, but food is OK.
The town is not very far, a 10 minutes walk along the river.
To summarize... What you see on the website is what you get. No bad surprises, no good surprises either.

Nous avions réservé plusieurs mois en avance et nous avions un emplacement très désagréable car il se situait sur un endroit avec une mare d'eau en plein milieu d'où gadoue partout car on était obligé de campé le auvent à la limite....il ne faisait pas très chaud et pleuvait beaucoup donc ça devenait une petite piscine ! lorsqu'il fait chaud, ce sont les moustiques qui pullulent..pas mieux ! attention à cet endroit (au fond à droite : 46 )

Emplacement ombragé et spacieux : en pleine alerte canicule : ca vaut de l'or.
Personnel très sympathique.
Piscine très grande ( très bonne idée d'avoir d'associer la piscine municipale voisine du camping)
Restaurant très joli, et personnel de salle très souriant, belle carte de plats et de glace.

de ligging en de ruime plaatsen zijn fantastisch. Ook het zwembad is heerlijk. Het enige minpunt is het sanitair; dat wordt niet goed schoon gemaakt.
Geweldig is ook het feit dat je lopend naar de supermarkt kunt.

wij zijn vorig jaar eind augustus op uw camping geweest
prachtige plaats in de schaduw en schoon sanitair
prima
wij hadden de laatste dag van ons verblijf noodweer moesten zelfs de camping verlaten en een nacht doorbrengen in een gemeenschapshuis
dit alles goed georganiseerd en werd zelfs niet door de camping in rekening gebracht

15 mn à pied du centre ville par un chemin au bord de la rivière.
Je n'y étais que de passage pour une nuit, mais serais bien resté plus longtemps...

Nette camping, mooie ruime plekken, net sanitair, lekker heet water. Ligging iets minder; dicht bij doorgaande weg. Wel een camping met veel bomen en je kunt vanaf de camping een stukje wandelen langs de Puy. Ambert heeft een aardig oud centrum met veel vakwerkhuizen. De bevolking is alleen vrij stug en Ambert is een echt doorgangsplaatsje; veel verkeer.
We wilden kijken hoe ze de beroemde streekkazen maken bij Maison de la Fourme d' Ambert; deze hadden een poster buiten hangen waarbij een rondleiding in het engels werd beloofd. Binnen wilden ze wel een toegangskaartje verkopen, maar de hele rondleiding werd alleen in het frans gegeven!!

De camping is gelegen tussen de rivier en de (drukke) weg naar La Chaise Dieu. Veel winkels in de omgeving. Het terrein wordt keurig onderhouden, sanitair is schoon en heel! De staplaatsen zijn zeer ruim. Bij de prijs is inbegrepen de toegang tot het binnen- en buitenbad dat tegenover de camping ligt. Het personeel is uitermate vriendelijk.
