Zeer ruime plekken onder grote mooie bomen, genoeg speelgelegenheid (voetbal, basketbal, boulesveldje) en mooie zwemmeer, ideale op doortrek naar Zuid-Frankrijk of voor zomaar een weekje, er is genoeg te doen in de omgeving (Straastburg is leuk, maar ook Riquewihr, het kasteel van Hoog-Koenigsburg en het stadje Erstein zelf). Erstein heeft een treinstation waar je auto gratis achter kan blijven, en het is veel makkelijker en goedkoper om met de trein naar Straatsburg te gaan dan ernaartoe te rijden en te parkeren. De minpunten: de sanitair is redelijk schoon maar niet erg nieuw; er wordt niets gedaan aan luidruchtige gasten (we hadden 2 plekken verderop een Russische gezin die de hele dag zat te luisteren naar Russische schlagers, mwa, minder, en de beheerder vond het bij kamperen horen) Gewoon pech, de rest was meer dan OK en het meer is schoon en zeer fijn.
