Eind augustus, op de fiets op weg naar Parijs een nachtje in een tent verbleven op deze camping. Camping ligt ten noorden van Parijs, vlakbij toeristische hotspots als Chateau Chantilly, Compiegne en Auvers-sur-Oise (begraafplaats van Gogh) en natuurlijk Parijs. Camping ligt op een heuvel, die met de fiets nauwelijks te bereiken is. Dus zo'n 500 meter lopen! Vriendelijke uitbaters van de camping, die mij een flesje bier uit eigen voorraad aanboden, toen ik vroeg of er drank te koop is. Sanitair: basic, maar prima voor kampeerders. Geen gratis wifi. Kost 5 euro per uur!

Mooi gelegen kleine camping met een veld waar veel afwisseling is van schaduw tot zonnige plek. De behulpzame beheerster gaf aan dat het kampeerveld wat moeilijk bereikbaar was voor een caravan, maar dit veel reuze mee. We reden onze kleine caravan vrij makkelijk naar boven (4 haarspeldbochten). Het sanitair gebouw was keurig met fijne douches. Ook de omgeving is de moeite waard. Vanaf de camping zijn leuke wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden. Heel iets verder een mooi kasteel (Chantilly) met prachtige tuinen en bossen. Ook een goede verbinding met trein naar Parijs. De camping is niet duur (rond de € 30 voor 4 personen met caravan en bijzet tent).
