Eind mei 2016 waren een aantal plaatsen te drassig om daarop een caravan te plaatsen. De weinige recreatieve plekken voor de kampeerder (veel mobile homes en vaste staanplaatsen) en speel gelegenheid bij de sanitaire unit waren op dat moment niet goed onderhouden. Illustratief was dat rond een sanitaire unit de afgevallen bladeren en dode takken van de afgelopen winter er nog lagen (eind Mei begin Juni). Al met al een rommelige aanblik hetgeen je niet verwacht van een "Camping Cheque" camping. Het sanitair was netjes, maar voor een groot deel afgesloten, o.a. de urinoir unit.
