Grote afknapper is de middagrust, tussen 13.00 en 15.00 uur kun je niet de camping af of op. Ook al ben je reeds ingecheckt. Wordt zelfs boos op je gereageerd als je je een keer vergist en terug moet keren van de slagboom. Onvoorstelbaar zoveel ongastvrijheid en klantonvriendelijkheid gedrag. Bedenk me alleen daarom al voor een tweede keer. Typisch Duits.

Er staan veel vaste bewoners en het dichtstbij de rivier de Weser is voor toeristen. Ruime plaatsen, goede sanitaire voorzieningen. Het overdekte zwembad naast de camping is gratis voor kampeerders. Je kunt er goed eten in het restaurant en 's morgens is er broodservice.

Terrein voor passanten ligt aan het water, daar achter vaste standplaatsen. Sanitair is prima, ruim en schoon. Fietspad loopt over camping. Heerlijk fietsen langs het water over verharde paden. Mooie plaatsen, mooi uitzicht over het water. Als je een kano meehebt, kan je die zo de rivier in laten glijden.
