Eind juni 2011 hier 5 dagen gestaan. Op de dag heerlijk weer 30 graden maar zodra zon weg was koelde het heel snel af, dit komt omdat de camping op 1100 mtr hoogte ligt. Was geen probleem de rust en de mooie natuur is heerlijk. Aaridge campingbaas die ook het restaurant samen met vrouw en kinderen runt. De omgeving is bijzonder geschikt voor wandel en fietstochten. Ga zeker ook naar Scanno, prachtig oud bergdorpje.

Kleine gemoedelijke camping midden in het nationale park van de Abruzzen. Aan de linkerkant van de ingang de vrije velden voor de zomertoeristen en rechts van de ingang vaste seizoensplaatsen bezet door Italianen. Eigenaar vriendelijk. Sanitair eenvoudig maar superschoon. Restaurant op de camping een aanrader, dat tevens door vele Italianen uit de omgeving wordt bezocht. Opi een schattig stadje op een bergkam ligt op een paar kilometer afstand, voor boodschappen ben je aangewezen op het grotere gezellige Pescasseroli of Barrea aan het gelijknamige stuwmeer. Ideale camping voor de natuurliefhebber of het nu wandelen is of korte trips met de auto
