The location is pleasant, tidy, and extremely serene. The sole factor preventing me from awarding it a perfect score was the inability to utilize the boat ramp due to an excess of vegetation in the water. Nonetheless, it's a commendable spot overall.

Upon arriving at the location, we were unable to locate the office and noticed there was no security measure in place at the entrance, allowing anyone to come in freely. Repeated attempts to contact the staff resulted in them providing us with various alternative contact numbers, which seemed rather suspicious. We were also instructed to choose any parking spot. A fellow RV resident informed us that we would be met by the manager, however, we never actually saw this individual, only communicating with them over the phone. There wasn't much else to do in the area. It appeared that the majority of residents were there for extended stays. We felt that the fees we were charged were excessive. Despite having booked a week's stay, we departed after only four days due to safety concerns. We have no plans to return.

Quiet and relaxing setting; and very well maintained. The staff is friendly and offered help or assistance any time you see them. Looked like a lot of long time campers here, but everyone was welcoming to us. Would stay here again, just for the easy setting. Bathrooms had two stalls and one shower in each men and womens rooms. This may be small, but there were not a lot of short termers here, so there were always available, and very clean.

This place is amazing. The owners, neighbors and guests are super friendly and helpful. We came for just a couple of nights and ended up staying two months. It was such a great, safe and laid back place to be. We have two big dogs and kept them on leashes all the time in the campground area. We were able to walk them to a spot on forest service land just outside the campground where they could run off leash. The marina really adds to this beautiful setting. Sitting at the end of the dock in the morning watching the manatees swim by and the gators floating along like huge logs and birds galore! This place will truly calm your soul. Don't expect the typical hustle and bustle of suburban style camping because this is rural camping in a rural area. No wifi (hotspotting worked just fine) no cable (that I knew of) but all the important hookups are there. Diesel is about 12 miles away but gas and groceries are just about 4 miles from Astor Landing. Bathrooms are clean, campground and marina are clean and very well kept up. The owners keep the place up very well and will surely quietly tell you to leave if you cannot be respectful to your camping neighbors. As dog owners we know how quickly a pet friendly park can become pet exempt. Please pick up your pets messes and keep them leashed in the campground and marina and your experience will be just as great as ours. We fell in love with the place and you will too.

Last minute reservation, was able to get us and our 43’ fifth wheel in! Site was level and clean. It’s a simple campground with a mix of travelers and residents. Quiet area with a nice marina/dock area for launching boats, jet ski, or kayaks. Full hookups and amazing water pressure! Larger rigs may find it tight, but if you take it slow you won’t have a problem. Owners were attentive and super nice!
