The sites are immaculate and flat. There's an excellent grassy area for leashed dogs. The staff is amiable and always ready to assist. The shared amenities, like the laundry room (costs between $1-$1.50) and the bathrooms, are well-kept and easy to reach. A brisk 20-minute walk will take you to DeGarmo dog park, an ideal place for dogs to expend their energy. A convenience store, PDQ Mart, is just a 5-minute walk away. A variety of other stores, including a CVS, are within a 15-20 minute stroll - essentially, you can fulfill all your needs within a 20-minute radius. The place is located on a busy street, so it might get a little loud, but it didn't bother us.

A wonderful place to stay. Sandra in the office was sweet to me and many other campers. We were here doing Camp Fire (2018) rebuild, but many of our fellow campers were Dixie Fire (2021) evacuees. Pool; cool and clean as was the bathrooms, laundry room and campsites. I would stay here again, and so should you. We had wifi and full hookups. Our site was back in but many pull thrus for larger campers. Yes Verizon. No tents at campground.

We’ve stayed at the Almond Tree RV Park several times and really love it. It is a very nice and clean park and the folks running it are very friendly. The location can’t be beat - easy to find and easy to get to all the great places to enjoy in Chico. We’ve enjoyed the pool and the laundry facilities are both are well kept and clean. Sites are a bit tight, but are not bad at all. Nice and level side-to-side so it is easy to set up. Utilities are easy to access also.

We stayed a week at this lovely park in Chico! Not too big/crowded, easy check in process, nice picnic tables. Some road noise, but convenient to be on the “main drag”. Didn’t use any facilities but the pool looked nice. Our site was not very level, but easy to level with blocks.

We were in town so we could get a aux fuel tank installed at Transfer Flow (great people) and needed WiFi because we are both working from home. The park is very clean and well kept, with green grass between sites. Each site has a picnic table and many have shade. Although our site was on the end and facing a busy street, we were far enough set back that we hardly ever heard the cars go by. When we were there 8/1 to 8/8, the park never got more than half full. There is a small pool and shower and laundry facilities and all are clean and well maintained. Dinner at Rice Bowl down the street is very good, but watch out for their portions. We ordered two dishes on top of rice and chow mein and there was enough 2 dinners and a lunch. Not a bad problem to have if you ask me.

Park was clean but sites are packed together to where I questioned clearance if I decided to deploy the awning. 2/3 of the sites are pull-through. Full hookups on gravel sites with a picnic table and a 6' strip of grass between sites. Restrooms/showers were clean and very roomy. Although the campground is quiet, the nearby street can be very noisy late into the evening. Office staff is all business and we didn't see a lot of enthusiasm.
