Flat Rock Campground
Riverside campground suitable for caravans about 20 minutes from Bathurst NSW.
The area is quite large and open with plenty of well maintained grass for pitching a tent. The creek here is quite shallow as it winds its way through the granite boulders, however there are a couple of nice little swimming holes. There are basic toilets and brick wood fired barbecues, as well as a number of camper built fire rings.

Getting there
the campground is on Mutton Falls Road, about 20km south east from Bathurst NSW.

Went there a couple of weeks ago. You have to go over a small bridge to get to the river, which I found disappointing. You can't see the river from the camp grounds. On a hot Sunday quite a lot of cars turned up to have a swim, so not necessarily a quiet spot.
