On the bank of the Murray River. Large beach site with choice of camping along the beach or under trees.
Tourist town, can be very busy in the summer months. A large site, camping and caravans, on the river first in best dressed. Some spots under tress, that are checked for unsafe limbs, and along the beach edge. Water taps available at some spots, against trees. Boat ramp available, bring the fishing boat. Cold shower A walk into town to the bakery’s and pub meals. A very popular site for grey nomads, and families in the school breaks Pets welcome but controlled.
Access
This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
Getting there
Turn into the town of Tocumwal turn right at the roundabout at glider and follow signs to “Town Beach†Part dirt track into the site, suitable for big vans.
