Nestled in Maine's Western Mountains on the pristine Richardson Lakes, South Arm Campground entices the lover nature to delight in all of nature's perfection. The maine campground located on a peninsula has 65 wooded sites for RV"s, trialers, or tents. All sites are in a natural forest setting with spruce, hemlock and birch. Most off water sites have a water view, and water sites their own private beach. We offer 38 wilderness campsites accessible only by water along the seventeen miles of lake offering a unique chanceto experience wilderness camping at its best. The ideal family campground, we offer activities for kids during July and August including Friday night kayak races for the entire family and ice cream social nights. Spring and fall offer renowed fly-fishing on the connecting Rapid River and traditional trout and salmon fishing on the lake.
