New Hampshire, USA

Located in the beautiful Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire, the Crow's Nest Campground is located on 34 scenic acres bordering the Sugar River, which offers excellent trout fishing. We have made it a priority to offer family camping in New Hampshire. We have a large swimming pool, as well as a wading pool for the younger campers. If you prefer a bit more natural setting, you can swim in the pond or wade in the river. Our NH campsites range from large, grassy, full hookup sites (perfect for motor homes) to shady wooded water and electric campsites. We also have cabin rentals. Join us for a weekend or a week - you'll be glad you did!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crows Nest Campground. We stayed in the wooded section with full hookups. We were happy with the size and privacy of our site. The restrooms and showers were immaculate, and the staff was very friendly. We are disappointed that there’s no availability later in the summer, because we would love to go back!

Check in at the office was easy but this was the first time we’d been asked for our dogs’ rabies certificates. We proceeded down the hill to pull through site 74 with FHUs for our overnight stay. The campground (CG) has four main areas. The first one up on the hill by the office was mainly seasonal campers. The area we were in was also seasonal with a couple of short-term pull through sites. The third area, sites 55-66, were 20 AMP with water and was ideal for tents, popups, and small POD type trailers. Many of these sites were right along the river. The fourth area were nicely wooded sites, 77-120. This area of the CG had a state park feel and was mainly weekenders with kids when we were there for our overnight stay 9-10 Oct. We received a few OTA channels but could have put out our satellite as there were not many trees in our area. We got 2 bars on Verizon and AT&T. We did not try the WiFi as its $1 extra per day/per device, which in reality was not a bad thing. We are seeing more and more campgrounds adapting similar policies to preclude overburdening the WiFi. The CG had a small fenced dog area and there was plenty of space to walk the dogs to include a couple of trails. We enjoyed our time at this campground.
