Sandra's management skills were quite poor. Unexpectedly, we were hit with a $100 fee for supposedly overstaying our booking, which wasn't the case. Our reservation was for two nights (confirmed with Sydney, who was very pleasant), and we were aware that we might have to switch to a different, unspecified location on the second night. This wasn't a problem for us. Upon arrival, we informed the office that we would be staying for two nights. The receptionist, without lifting her gaze, directed us to a box outside where we could find a paper with our names, instructions, and site number. The paper only had one site number, so we assumed that was our spot for both nights. The following day, we were out and about and came back after 5:00 PM to find an unpleasant note stating that our site had been reserved for someone else and we needed to move. There was no indication of where we were supposed to go. Eventually, we managed to get in touch with Sandra, the manager. She was quite brusque, informing us that we were supposed to have moved and because we hadn't, she was charging us the $100 overstay fee. I told her that the paper only listed one site and we were not informed that we would have to switch on the second night. I inquired where we were supposed to relocate, but she had already sold the second site to someone else and told us to stay put and discuss it in the morning. The camper who was supposed to occupy our site ended up camping next to us, sharing the hook up. They were unaware that we were in their spot. The next morning, we tried to discuss the overstay fee with Sandra and once again asked how we were supposed to know where to move on the second night. Sandra explained that their system only displays one day at a time, so there's no way to know until the day of where you'll need to relocate. No one

We stayed here for two nights during the week. It seemed pretty bare bones, nothing for kids (we didn’t have kids along) but it was close to the ferry. The showers seems to be under renovation so I hope they get better soon. Overall good

Dusty. Had lots of rain last night and three sites under water. Green whatever's review is *way* overblown, and includes lots that has nothing to do with St Ignace, but anyway... Sites are ok. Fire pits below ground level, which is not optimal and the fill with water during hard rain. Wifi works... IF you're basically standing in front of the office. Forget about it Restrooms are not fancy, but clean. Showers same. Laundry is nothing special, standard commercial units, not large capacity. It's ok. No one in office by late afternoon. Number to call, but whatever. LARGE parking area (dusty gravel) to stow trailers, etc. Mostly quiet here. Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad place, but it's absolutely NOT fancy. You get a place to park your unit, get whatever hookups you paid for, and that's basically it. Office allows you to get Amazon delivery here should you need it. I'm getting full T-Mobile 5G here, which is good because their Wifi is a complete zero. Got kids? Absolutely zero kid stuff here, but there's a park in St. Ignace to let them run. Looked in 5 different fire pits, ALL had cigarette butts, so they must not clean them, or don't clean them well. We've stayed here three times, and will again. I just want to let you know what you're getting.

We booked here after spending one evening at Mill Creek in Mackinaw City along the water. We unfortunately arrived during the midge fly swarm season. When I say swarm, I mean the literal context of swarms. Midge flies only last a few weeks, don’t bite, and stay close to the water. Luckily, Tiki RV was just a few miles away and midge fly free. The employees are extremely friendly and very flexible. I like that the campground is so close to dining and grocery shopping. Our site was right along a road lined with homes. It was mostly quiet with the occasional car driving by. Laundry was cheap at $3/load. I would stay here again. Also, excellent mobile service via AT&T. We were able to have Zoom and Teams meetings effortlessly here, plus all of our streaming services without using the campground’s Wifi.

Located within the city limits of St Ignace, TIKI has a great location from which to launch any adventure you wish to accomplish. Downtown is walking distance but you'll want to drive if you plan on shopping a lot or doing laundry. St Ignace has a great laundromat with newer huge commercial washers/dryers. We typically do not use camp laundry's because there is usually only one-two units and they're commercial versions of home units and not large enough or too slow. Located within the office building are restrooms & individual room showers. All are nice but as with most established camps, could use some upgrades. There's a fantastic pizza restaurant (B.C. Pizza) that also delivers and other eateries & Ice Cream shops. The camp is semi-secluded with only a residential street which is somewhat annoying from some of the sites. Good firm sites with grass lots of trees that gives the illusion of being away from it all yet so close to town. There's no hiking trails but this is an R&R stop where you want to go out and explore and come back to a campfire. Lots of tourist shopping everywhere downtown - if you like fudge you'll OD! Mackinaw Island ferry's are launched from town, Mackinaw City has more shops & historical places and is just across the bridge. Cheboygan has a Super Walmart, Tractor Supply and is only 20 miles East. Petoskey is another great little town with many shops & Walmarts and is 40 miles Southeast. The Soo Locks & Sault Ste Marie is 50 miles North and offers much the same. All areas offer several State Parks day use with hiking trails. Couple of dings - there is only one dumpster located down at the office and perhaps because this was late season (October) the office is only staffed twice a day for one hour each, of course you can call their cell anytime.

No frills, but quiet and walking distance to town... Long walk, but feels good after a long drive. We spent a pleasant day on Mackinac Island and enjoyed the sites before heading up into Canada.

This is a great campground and RV park. Well maintained and really nice staff. Easy to make online reservations. We loved the town of Saint Ignace, much more low key and WAY less touristy than Mackinaw City. Our only complaint about our stay is the site we stayed in. It’s very private and away from others. However, the site needs help. It is a dirty mess. It looks like a mudslide went through and was bulldozed away. The ground is bare loose dirt and rocks with wood chips haphazardly scattered about. It’s an awkward layout and the hookups are at the front of the site, requiring extension hoses and electric cables. Which all lay in the loose dirt and rocks. On a dry day, the dirt and wood chips get tracked everywhere, prepare to remove shoes and do a lot of sweeping up. On a wet day it’s a muddy mess. We had both. We spent quite awhile wiping mud off of everything before we stowed it. Definitely recommend the park, but there are much better sites.

We enjoyed this spot a lot for basic touristy stuff. We were able to explore the area, go to Mackinac and also explore the Northern Lower Peninsula as well during our stay. Small but functional laundry room. Middle washing machine has hot and cold water switched, so check temps before you walk away when you run laundry. Campsites were big enough for our use. We had space to have a nice meal outside and were close to the entrance in our pull through spot. Our spot was not at all shaded, but others deeper into the park were. We had good AT&T service and Tmobile hotspot was on 5G the whole time with good speeds. Overall connectivity was great, but the campground wifi didn't reach us and we were one of the closest sites to the office. Don't count on the campground wifi for connectivity but if you have AT&T hotspot or a Tmobile hotspot, you will be fine. I didn't run a lot of speedtests at this spot, as we were on vacation but it was never poor there. We even had coverage using our hotspots over on Mackinac island. We did not interact with staff while there. Curbside self check-in made everything easy and smooth.

Overall, we’d recommend it as a perfect quiet and cozy home base for visiting St. Ignace or heading out to Mackinac Island! It’s not really the type of park you’ll want to spend time hanging out at, though. There’s just not much to do — no playground for kids, no swimming, no trails for even a short walk. But as a relaxing place to come back to and rest at the end of the day, it’s great! PROS: -Quiet campground -Great location close to town, but away from busy streets -Clean and well-kept (they even took the extra care to spray down the gravel road so it wasn’t dusty when cars drove down it!) -Friendly staff -Variety of sites from rustic to full-hookup, and even multiple yurts for rent -Tent and yurt sites were surrounded by trees and very peaceful and pretty CONS: -Some of the RV sites were a little on top of each other (we had Site 59 and would not recommend it) -The rustic sites looked a little uneven — good for smaller tents, but might be hard to find an ideal spot for a larger tent -Showers were very clean, but looked like it was time for some updating

We were forced to change our plans last minute and luckily were able to book at this campground. The sites have nice shade, but are pretty close together. The staff was very rude the entire time we were here.

The speed limit is 5 mph and even the workers ignored that (I was surprised how much dust a golf cart kicked up). The park is a dirt road (there is hardly any gravel on it anymore) and every time someone drove by, you were surrounded in dust. This made it almost impossible to work, relax or even eat outside. Additionally, this park hasn't seen an upgrade in at least 10 years - it is just a maintained park. The buildings haven't seen a new coat of paint in at least 10-15 years. Our site was on a hill and unlevel. The bathrooms and laundry ($2.00/load) were clean, but outdated. While it is close to St. Ignace, there is much more on the other side of the bridge, in Mackinaw.

Our stay was mid July and we loved the location. St. Ignace is a quaint town with shops and a few places to eat (due to COVID it was limited). The ferries to Mackinac Island were close. Our site was a pull through, gravel, unlevel, with full hook ups. We had to ask for a picnic table which they brought promptly! They were tight, but like us, it seemed everyone left for the day and returned in the evening so it was quiet at night. We did have good WiFi and cell service while there. Not much of area to walk your dog. There was a bath house but we did not go in.
