We stayed here one night enroute from Flathead Lake to Canada. We didn’t have reservations and got a FCFS site when we pulled in around 4:30 pm on a Saturday. The FCFS sites are closer to the campground entrance and while some will accommodate medium RVs, to turn around and exit most sites you need to drive up the hill and all the way through the reservable sites which are along a narrower stretch of one way road.

We enjoyed our stay at North Dickey Lake, although it was only one night. The sites are spacious and the campground provides vault toilets and water faucets, but no freshwater tank fill up or dump station. Unfortunately, the wind would blow a certain direction every few minutes and the toilets across the road were not a pleasant smell. Some sites have lake views. There is a floating dock, boat ramp, and a swimming beach. Eureka is a short drive north with a grocery and 4g AT&T service. Look out for the deer at night along Highway 93, the whole area is bombarded by the deer population.
