The Cove Campground consists of 3000 mountain acres and includes 3 large lakes and 30 miles of ATV and motorcycle trails. The 100 campsites are large and most are wooded. Several are lakeside. The Cove provides family camping removed from commercialization.

The Cove is a beautiful area, remote for the East, forested with a lovely big pond. However, it was quite a drive in on a dirt road; it was challenging to find a level spot for our teardrop camper; it was a bit of a hike to haul a bucket of water; and the water wasn't running the morning we left, so no dishwashing and no shower.
