L. A. County's only recreational vehicle campground ON THE BEACH! RV'ers enjoy sunshine, ocean breezes, and a scenic panorama from Malibu to Catalina Island. There's plenty to do and lots to enjoy at Dockweiler RV Park. For starters, this popular, year-round beach campsite offers complete hook-ups, a handy pump-out station, hot showers, and a laundromat. Each campsite has its own picnic table and barbecue, so you can enjoy your stay. And, of course, there's the ocean only a few steps from your RV door. You can play volleyball at nearby courts, take a walk on the sand, or even have a romantic fire on the beach. It's all here. This is a great beach for swimming. If you've never tried surf fishing, this is your chance. The 22-mile Marvin Braude Bicycle Trail is only a few pedals away from the camp, connecting the RV Park with nearby attractions such as Redondo Beach Pier, Venice, Santa Monica beaches and Marina del Rey. The RV Park is freeway-close to some of Southern California's many attractions, such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, the Getty Museum, to name just a few.

This place was simply amazing. I felt incredibly secure and it was a delight to rise in the morning and stroll along the seashore. I suggest taking the comments regarding the sound of aircraft lightly, as I did not find it bothersome in the slightest. Both my spouse and I managed to conduct our work and phone conversations without any disturbances, and it was rather fascinating to observe the airplanes departing! The laundry situation was rather unsanitary, but apart from that, this place is quite exceptional.

The nearby beach is secure, however, the incessant noise from aircrafts is a deterrent.

Very nice next to the beach 40’ RV no problems parking but the lot a little bit tight with full hookup.

Great spot right on ocean. Full Hook ups. Make a reservation through LA County website. We were here and it was cold and rainy. So but as much fun. Bike path along beach right there in front of you and of course the pacific. Lots of construction right now and the airport noise is not to bad. Not many places in LA to call so this is reasonable with full hook ups. I expect it is packed in summer time.

The only good thing about this rv park is the view. The day we arrived, there was a homeless person in the ladies shower. The days after that day, I still smelled her. My boyfriend wanted to take a shower, but the camping host locked the showers for a unknown reason and the camping host told him to take a shower another time. The restrooms are not very clean. The planes did not bother us. Yes you can hear them fly over, but it is not annoying at all. We would not stay here again.
